Watch spectacular sunsets over the Currituck Sound from the ship's watch of this amazing sound front home and discover the beauty of the Outer Banks. With sound front access, this home is great for windsurfing, paddleboarding, kiteboarding, and kayaking.
Every aspect of DuckDuckJacks has been recently refinished with relaxation and comfort in mind. A den and reading nook/office has been added to give your family plenty of room to reconnect and rejuvenate after a great day at the beach or at the pool. All televisions are now HD flat screens. The appliances, furniture, and bedding have been replaced and updated. Each mattress is memory foam except for the queen bedroom, which is pillow top. All bathrooms have been transformed into spa-like settings, with marble vanities, shiplap accents, plenty of lighting, and glass tile. The main living area and all common areas have hardwood floors, and a new carpet was installed in each bedroom. Please note, the top-level additional living area has a split level AC/Heating unit.
A private pool, private sound front beach, beautiful landscaping, and multiple outdoor seating areas have been added. There is also a seating area equipped with heaters and a ceiling fan to accommodate most weather conditions under the house. Please note that DDJ also has the mosquito squad come every three weeks to help keep the bugs under control and the outdoor spaces enjoyable for guests.
DuckDuckJacks also has an indoor soundbar, outdoor stereo system, and WiFi.
Private pool available mid April to Mid October. Pool size is approximately 12’ x 24’. Optional pool heat is available for $500.00/week.
The Northpoint community indoor pool is normally open from April 1st to the end of October. Community pool dates are subject to change.

We enjoyed our stay and vacation so much that we have reserved the same house for the same week next year. Loved pictures of family and the dogs which makes it feel so homey wonderful decor throughout. The beds were comfy and the bedding and linens were some of the softest and nicest we’ve had at any rental in obx.

This is our second stay and we plan to book again! The kitchen had everything we needed! We couldn’t get the wine cooler to work, but everything else was great. The beds were so comfortable, the rooms were beautifully decorated, and even the charger alarm clocks were a nice touch. This home has everything!

Furnishing were comfortable, style was lovely. Kitchen was extremely well equipped. The house was fantastic, location was absolutely beautiful. The only downside to this property was the spider infestation. It made using any of the outdoor spaces unpleasant and we found we underutilized being outdoors because of it.

absolutely love this house
I would love it if owners would have another pergola put up. The kitchen was very well appointed with everything that we needed. The only issue that we had in this house this year (this is our 4th year staying in this rental) was that there were so many bugs everywhere that we couldn’t open any of the doors or windows to enjoy the beautiful weather. Overall we absolutely love the house and will definitely be back next year but just some observations that we had this year that we didn’t really notice in previous years.

We loved it! We slept well and enjoyed the many sitting areas. The kitchen had even more than we expected! This house was amazing!! We felt so comfortable here and enjoyed it so much! It has everything we needed and more!! Great for adults and kids alike. The private beach and sound views were lovely.

by far the cleanest, well kept home
The owners thought of everything! The kitchen had every amenity you could think of. We’ve stayed in many beach homes over the years and this is by far the cleanest, well kept home! The private pool and sound views of the sunrise and sunset were spectacular l’m looking forward to booking for next year!

Best House Ever!
This was one of the "Greatest Houses" we have ever rented. We visit Outer Banks every year and have stayed in many nice homes. The location and being freshly remodeled made this our favorite. IMO the best views possible on the Outer Banks. Sunsets over the sound are just the best. Excellent pool location, right on the sound. Fully furnished with Kayaks, life jackets, water sports accessories. We would recommend this house to anyone.

Great place! Well appointed!
We have been vacationing on the Outer Banks every summer my entire life since I was a baby, staying everywhere from Ocracoke to Carova but we have called Duck “home” since the late 90’s. This house is probably the best appointed house we have ever stayed in. Watching the sunset out by the pool or on the deck every night across the sound is amazing. The house has literally EVERYTHING you might need. We ended up bringing a lot of stuff we didn’t need to bring because we’re used to a lot of houses not having certain things. This place has an amazing outdoor area with every piece of recreational equipment you need. The kitchen is well appointed with QUALITY kitchen stuff, not cheap dollar store special stuff. The sitting room 2nd living room was awesome for our kids, they used that as the playroom and kids tv room. Beds are comfortable memory foam mattresses. All the recent renovations are beautiful and well done. I think our only complaint is the wifi. certain spots of the house had weak signal due to the placement of the router. That could easily be remedied by moving the router to a central location in the house or installing a few wifi boosters. Otherwise the house is awesome! We’ll be back for sure!

Best beach house ever!
What a great week we had in this beautiful house on the sound the week of June 10th, 2018! This house exceeded every expectation that we had. Not only was the house amazing, but the pool and beach were perfect! The owners of this property paid very close attention to every detail. The ocean was only a quick 5 minute walk, although we really didn't spend time there because we had everything we needed right here on this property! Very private lot which made you feel secluded, yet close enough to shops/restaurants to be able to get out without going far. Loved everything about this place and will be back next year!!

Perfection on the Sound
From the moment we arrived at this rental home we knew it would be a fantastic vacation! From the beauty of the home, and its amenities to the gorgeous sunset, it was "perfect"! Our 13 yr old daughter and her friends had no trouble enjoying the pool, the short walks to the beach and listening to music on the home audio system. We enjoyed the evening sunsets under the gazebo each night. The short drive to historic Corolla was enjoyable. The home owners permit use of their beach wagon, and chairs which was so nice. There are plenty of floats for the pool and kitchen is so well equipped. It didn't take much thought as a family to decide where we wanted to stay next year! Thank you for a memorable vacation.
