Assistant Rental Manager - Kitty Hawk and Kill Devil Hills

Sun Realty is seeking 2 full-time, year-round Assistant Rental Managers for our Kitty Hawk and Kill Devil Hills offices. The Assistant Rental Manager provides Sun Realty's homeowners and guests with the highest level of satisfaction, ensuring continuous delivery of excellence in hospitality and professionalism.   Successful candidates will possess knowledge of the Outer Banks vacation rental and hospitality industries, present a professional image, have strong negotiating, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and be well adept at building successful, positive relationships.  Schedules may vary and weekends/holidays are required.

Payroll Manager

As the Accounting Manager for Sun Realty, you will be responsible for ensuring that all payroll checks, accounts payable, sales closings and commission checks, are issued in a timely manner with reliability and confidentiality. The Payroll Manager partners with Human Resources to successfully onboard/offboard employees, administer time off benefits and ensure accurate payroll deductions for enrolled benefits. To execute the job successfully, you must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily with a good attitude, and the ability to work well with others.

Assistant Housekeeping Manager - Kitty Hawk

Ensure the highest level of overall housekeeping services in accordance with company policies and procedures; manage the day-to-day planning, organizing, directing, and training and developing of team members.

Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following:

  • Establishes objectives and goals for the team; plans, organizes and manages workflow.
  • Assigns, monitors, and reviews work of cleaning crews.
  • Investigates and resolves concerns and complaints.
  • Assist and provide support; maintains a positive and professional working environment.
  • Purchase, deliver, and install any needed items in rental units.
  • Operates office machinery (i.e., computer, copy machine, fax machine).

Assistant Linens Manager

OBX Linen Solutions, a division of Sun Realty, is seeking a positive, results-driven Assistant Linens Manager. This is a full-time, year-round opportunity to support a team of linens professionals and guide daily operations including processing, packing, delivery, and pick-up for vacation rental properties. This is an energetic, high-production, dynamic environment. It’s a mix of floor, warehouse, field and office oversight and interaction. This role offers the potential for both individual and team projects and successes. Overtime may be required during the season.

Sun Realty’s Housekeeping Departments are seeking 2023 seasonal and year-round part-time team members for the following locations: Avon, Salvo, Kill Devil Hills, Kitty Hawk, Duck, and Corolla. Sun offers flexible hours and competitive pay with weekly payroll! All cleaning products and PPE are provided.

For over 42 years, Sun Realty has been a leader in vacation rental properties serving over 18,000 families every year! Joining the Sun team, cleaners could earn as much as $350+ per turnover day, even more for Seasonal deep cleans. Inspectors are paid $18.00 per hour.

Linens Driver - Seasonal

Sun Realty’s Linens Driver is responsible for assisting in the administration and oversight of Sun Realty Linens Solutions OBX delivery and pickup operations. Responsibilities include loading and unloading vehicles, stocking vehicles for routes, assisting management in scheduling and routing of all deliveries and pick-ups. The Linens driver must be able to communicate effectively with others, analyze and resolve problems, maintain effective working relationships, and interact successfully with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Maintains a clean and organized work environment and service vehicle daily, including the floor and warehouse. 
  • Maintain a clean and organized load and unload dock area daily.
  • Professionally interacts with owners, guests, and rental office staff relative to performance of duties assigned herein.
  • Provides, maintains, and updates all daily records and information as required by management.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions including extreme heat and extreme cold.
  • Ability to lift between 50 - 100 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Load and unload trucks accordingly for linen deliveries and pick-ups.
  • Make sure vans & trucks are equipped with trash bags, yellow bags, blue bags, gloves, directions, and injury and accident package.
  • Check condition of owner-provided linen boxes and report to management any that need repair or replacement.
  • Report to management any owner provided linen homes without linen boxes.
  • Keep accurate records of any discrepancies found during deliveries and pick-ups.
  • Unload vans and trucks, separate and unfold linens, sort linens, load and unload washers and dryers, fold linens, and pack linens.
  • You may be required to assist with other Sun offices/departments as needed. 

Requirements:

  • Physical/Mental Demands: Lift 50 – 100 pounds, overhead lifting, carry, push, pull, throw, reach, sitting, standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, bending, twisting, hearing, seeing, repetitive motion, folding, wrapping, and stocking linens, loading, and unloading delivery trucks, effective written and verbal communication in the English language.

Linens Associate/ Packer (Part-Time/Year-Round)

As a Linens Associate/Packer with the Linens Department, you must ensure the highest level of overall Linen services in accordance with company policies and procedures. The Linens Associate/Packer must be able to communicate effectively with others, analyze and resolve problems, maintain effective working relationships, and interact successfully with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Performs all assigned duties expediently and professionally.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented.
  • Pack and sort linens in appropriate bags for guest distribution. 
  • Professionally interacts with owners, guests, and rental office staff relative to performance of duties.
  • Responsible for operation of washers & dryers, and dispersing chemicals.
  • Responsible for folding, wrapping & storage of laundered items.
  • Pack out linens for upcoming check-ins, office stock and after-hours cabinets.
  • Assist drivers with unloading trucks & vans.
  • Assist with deliveries and pick-ups as (if) needed.
  • Ability to lift between 50-100 lbs.
  • Launder deep clean items, making sure all items are counted, bagged, and labeled properly.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions including extreme heat and extreme cold.
  • May be required to assist with other Sun offices/departments as needed. 

Requirements:
