loved staying here

We loved staying here. The house was spacious and convenient to everything. Kitchen had everything but a pizza cutter! The beds were a lot more comfortable then some houses we stayed at. The only issue we had was the hot tub. There is something wrong with the control panel. We called maintenance who came out the same day, worked on it, but next day it was doing it again. Otherwise we very much loved this house and would stay again.

always enjoy our stay

Only because we’ve stayed other places to compare, the home’s furnishings, decor were dated and worn, some things could be updated a little. TV reception was bad, couldn’t get first 15 channels. Happy with location and layout of home. Regardless, we still always enjoy our stay. Thank you.

a good house

This was a good house. Kitchen was fine. Beds were older and not very comfortable. Mattress pad/cover had plastic component made it hot to sleep. One of 3 on property sharing beach access. However, a number of people from surrounding (across the street) houses seemed to use our access. Not a big deal, but since we pay a premium for house with access somewhat annoying.

comfortably accommodated large group

Despite the house being very outdated, and also needing some maintenance, it was very close to the beach, and it also comfortably accommodated our large group. The a/c was excellent, and we never ran out of hot water. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds are all very outdated…they were tolerable, but more updated mattresses would have made the stay better. Pull out sofa beds would’ve been great for extra sleep options, especially for kids.

Port-O-Call II

The home we stayed in was very nice and clean when we arrived. The AC kept up with the house and was very comfortable, which can be a common issue with most rental homes. The home was very affordable for being semi-ocean front as well. The only two issues we had were the beds at the home in every bedroom were very uncomfortable (very outdated and worn). This was a complaint a couple families had who stayed at the home. The other minor issue was not the home but rather the check in with sun realty. We did not have access to our home till almost 5:00pm due to it not being cleaned and inspected till that time. Were told by sun realty that it can sometimes be till 6pm till renters have access to their rental homes but I feel others should be aware of this. We were not aware of a possible 6pm check in.

We sincerely apologize that you were not able to check in early. Standard check in begins after 4PM and continues until all homes are ready for occupancy. We do list this information on our website and lease agreement. We understand our guests are anxious to start their vacation so we try as hard as we can to get our homes cleaned and inspected as soon as possible on turn over days. A limited number of Early Check-in Services are available however must be pre-arranged.
