Just the right cottage for the family and your pet! This comfortable and cozy spot in South Nags Head has a spacious great room, open kitchen, nice size bedrooms and partial ocean views. With direct beach access only 50 yards away, it's easy to go back and forth throughout the day.

Hideawave is close to great restaurants and activities for the family. Jennette's Pier is just a mile north of this home, an ideal spot for sight-seeing and fishing. Take a bike ride on the multi-use path south to the Outer Banks Fishing Pier and enjoy a meal and drinks at Fish Heads Bar & Grill. Take a day trip to Hatteras or Ocracoke Islands, set up a fishing trip, or just lay on the wide beaches and enjoy the sun and the waves. Hey, it's your vacation!

This home does not include Sheets and towels. However, an optional package can be purchased for an additional charge.

Overall

Home is 3 houses from the the beach access! We liked the location, it was close to everything. The beds were ok, however the living room sofa and love seat are worn out and two patio chairs are being used as living room chairs with chair cushions used as back cushions. The kitchen area was spacious with a dine on counter and stools.

Great house! Very nice location. We enjoyed the ease of access to the beach and the swing on the porch the most! The up stairs ac took a bit to get set to temp and the dryer worked, but might need some attention.

The house fit our needs as far as location and home allows cats. It is very well stocked home, just still needs a little updating on some things considering the price we pay. Kitchen very well stocked for our needs. A coffee maker that uses pods would be nice though. The bedding and living area was all good enough for us. Another great thing about this house is the king size bed. That is hard to find! We enjoy the location and that the home allows cats! It is a quiet area too. We did stay in this house last year and would probably stay again for the reasons explained.

House was fabulous! Very close to the beach and great for a large family. Kitchen was great and well equipped. Loved the large dining table. The beds were great too! We love South Nags Head, it is less crowded and still close enough to get to things to do

The home was well stocked and had more than just the two of us needed! The kitchen had it all and that was a wonderful surprise. There was nothing that we needed and we were easily able to eat all our meals at the home. The bed could have been more comfy, but it was fine. Like most of the house, it was well used. We were fine really. I would recommend this home to certain people. We are pretty low key and easy. Some things around the house like that could use some attention/updating, but like I said, we made do and were just happy to find a place that would allow us to be there so long, and with our pets! We really, really appreciated that and we would certainly stay there again for that reason and just for how well the house was stocked and the location of it. Unless the house was ocean front, the location really could not have been better for us. Easy walk to the beach and we love that area of Nags Head. It's quiet and away from the busy areas, but close enough to make quick store runs. The neighborhood was quiet even though most of the houses were occupied while we were there. Everyone was pleasant and it's just a nice area.

Nice arrangement of beds in each room. Beds are comfortable. Seating is comfortable but not enough for 12 people. It sleeps 12 people but there's only room for about 7 people to sit comfortably. Kitchen lacked basic things like a decent spatula a pitcher (we have bought pitchers the last 2 years!) and sturdy stirring spoons.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hideawave! The home had all the necessities! Plenty of room for all of us to sleep as well as to eat our meals together at the dining table. Liked the open concept main floor where we could all be together and not feel too crowded. Loved that it is just steps away from the beach!

We have one dog so need a dog friendly property. Love the location and the bed sizes are perfect for our family. Beds are very comfortable thank you. Looks like the carpet was replaced this year so the property appeared better. Housekeeping did a good job cleaning.

Great location and comfortable! The main living area is great. The kitchen dining and living room areas are all open to each other. The couches are old but comfy. The king bed is old and has a dent from so many laying in the same space - could use a refresh. Kitchen is convenient and has lots of dishes and utensils. The refrigerator is old and small. It took a long time to get cold and it seems that it needs repair. Other appliances were fine.

Overall

Good location just no real beach view except from the top deck. The kitchen was fine. We had stayed in this house for 10 years but the last time was in 2010. There was new furniture the swing on the deck was new along with the screen door. Those were nice updates.
