Just steps from the sand, Carman is a recently renovated and redecorated 3 bedroom oceanfront condo offering incredible ocean views from the spacious great room, as well as the master bedroom! Watch sunrises while sipping coffee from the private oceanfront balcony, all just a short walk to Jennette's Pier!

Enjoy the views from the covered deck. DVDs, games and books are provided for nights in!

The fireplace is not available for guest use and is not advertised.

Sheets and towels are not provided but may be rented for a nominal fee.

by far the best unit

Everything was great. Everything we needed. I even brought my crockpot since u wasnt sure. I broke in transit...but this condo had one!!! I have stayed at various condos at Diamond Shoals. This is by far the best unit we have stayed at!!

Have rented this condo several times in the past 5 years and have it reserved for next year. Bedding and living space were comfortable. Kitchen is good - if you were going to update anything do the dishwasher it is a bit tempermental.

CONDO AS GOOD AS PICTURE TOUR

WE WERE VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE OVERALL CONDITION OF THE CONDO AND THE CLEANLINESS FOR OUR VISIT. THE KITCHEN CERTAINLY HAD ALL THE NECESSARY ITEMS FOR FOOD PREPARATION AND MAKING YOUR FAVORITE BEVERAGE. THE LOCATION IS GREAT, PARKING AMPLE AND ACCESS TO THE BUILDING GOOD. THE ELEVATOR WAS A NECESSITY FOR US AND IT WORK THE ENTIRE WEEK. THERE IS NO HANDICAP ACCESS TO THE BEACH AND YOU MAY WANT TO HAVE A COLLAPSABLE WAGON FOR TRANSPORTING EVERYTHING TO THE CONDO FROM THE VEHICLE.

Simply Wonderful

This was simply a wonderful experience! The exterior of the building does not hint at the very pleasant surprise you get upon entering the condo. It is spacious, comfortable, and very tastefully decorated. While the pictures give a good presentation of the unit, the living room window is even larger than it appears. The huge living room window and balcony offer incredible ocean views and make the condo bright and sunny in the morning. We saw dolphins every morning. The kitchen was stocked with all manner of equipment. Everything was clean and neat. We especially found the little instructional labels in the kitchen and near wall switches as well as instructions for the TVs, etc., to be a great help. We loved the large table for meals. Having TVs in the living and all bedrooms allowed for individual viewing. The elevator made getting in and out very easy. The week passed much too quickly, but we have certainly found a condo we could very easily return to again and again.

Upated Condo with an Exceptional Location

Our family has enjoyed several vacations in the Outer Banks. Since only 1/2 of the usual clan was able to make the trip this year, this property was a perfect fit. I would concur that this condo is the best one available in Diamond Shoals when considering interior improvements and location. The ocean front/beach views out the large LR & MBR windows and from the deck are outstanding. Walking distance to Jennette's Pier. Very close to our 2 favorite restaurants, Owens & Miller's. The kiddos really had fun in the pool and I believe we actually spent more time on the beach since the proximity and access was so convenient. We will definitely keep this property at the top of our short list of ones to return to in the future.

Beautiful condo, top shape, great location

This is probably the nicest condo, with the best location, in the entire complex. It's beautifully decorated and well maintained. The living room is huge with massive picture windows onto the beach. All 3 bedrooms are pretty large as well. We were amused to find a crazy array of kitchen machines -- Foreman grills, 3 or 4 different coffee/espresso makers, that Margaritaville machine, waffle makers (both regular and the flippy belgian kind), separate ice maker on the counter, and 4 or 5 more. Our first day there they ripped out the wood decking by the outdoor shower and installed all new. The other guests we ran into were all really nice and our kids had some playmates in the pool and on the beach. This was our first time staying in South Nags Head and we loved it -- easy access to services and things to do up north, easy access to the wild beaches of the National Seashore down south. There's a bike path right in front of the complex that goes 4-5 miles south, and leads north to a few shops and restaurants. Drawbacks: nowhere to store bikes, let alone covered or locked. Kitchen wasn't clean when we arrived but that's definitely not the condo's fault. No grill and strictly no grilling in the complex. Protip: carry your grill right onto the beach - problem solved. The exteriors and common areas of the complex are older and bit tired, but there were signs up indicating they're renovating the outside in the coming off-season. I imagine it'll be all-new for 2016. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Wonderful Condo!!

This condo was perfect for our family vacation! It is directly on the beach, offering amazing views from the huge family room window or deck-- we saw dolphins everyday, by the way. It's on the third floor, but there's an elevator, so it made unpacking and packing a breeze. The pool was great and cleaned daily and the beach was not crowded at all. There is a pier within walking distance-- Jeanette's Pier-- great for fishing or sight-seeing. The condo had everything we needed; and with TVs in every room, it really helped when the kid wanted cartoons and we wanted real shows. The realty company was amazing too--always helpful and friendly and they even have a welcome package complete with beach ball and frisbee. The only thing bad I have to say about our stay here, is that it was only 7 days long. We will most certainly return to spend our vacation here.
