dune has gotten high
The only one set back is that the dune has gotten so high, that it actually impedes the view of the beach from the back deck. The kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were pretty decent. The living room and bathroom were very good!

tastefully done
We spent 2 weeks here in October. We have spent a few vacations in ocean front homes in the OBX. Most are a little dated and in need of updates. This home was a lot different. New(er) interior with a tear/hole free screened in porch. Excellent kitchen with all you need for cooking. Bedrooms were clean and tastefully done. Both upper and lower decks in great condition as was all the furniture. We would 100% stay here again.

Just Beachy is a great oceanfront front rental for a small group. The location has a wonderful ocean view from the deck and distance to the beach is extremely close and easy to access. Unfortunately, the foggy glass on the sliding door to the oceanfront makes viewing the water impossible from inside the house. This problem was a mystery due to how visible recent updates have been made to the rest of the rental. The house was cleanest (inside & out) of any we have rented. Screened in porch was large with wonderful seating for eating and relaxing. Decor was tasteful throughout and kitchen had upgraded cabinets, countertops, appliances as well as all necessities. Has beautiful new dining table as well as newer flooring throughout entire house. Outside lower level was and added plus with easily accessible laundry area. There was a large assortment of beach equipment to use which was a pleasant surprise.
Having rented other homes in the same price range which included linens makes this non-amentity along with the lack of an ocean view thru the sliding glass door make for a deal breaker to consider rerenting this beach house. Hopefully the owner(s) will receive this review as constructive suggestions to consider in any effort to continually improve their terrific little beach house.

Great house, just needs comfortable beds. The beds were incredibly hard, just the 2 queens. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped.

phenomenal view
The view is phenomenal. The dining room table was excellent. Very comfortable bench and chairs. We could not find any tongs in the kitchen for picking up corn. The smaller tongs, not like the tongs one uses for a grill. All guests said that beds were comfortable. Rattan furniture in living room was the least comfortable.

For peak week, it was expensive, but we enjoyed our visit. House was clean, kitchen was nice and spacious, appliances all worked well. Liked recessed lighting and decor.

This house was amazing! The master bedroom mattress was not comfortable, at all. Everything else was very comfortable! Loved everything about it. I have it bookmarked that the next time we can afford a beach vacation we can check if it is available!

Loved "Just Beachy" and will return to this property again! The kitchen was amazing! The sofas and guest rooms were very comfortable, but the master bedroom bed was uncomfortable. We recommend a King bed.
