Location is out of the way. Great privacy with access to the beach. Kitchen is well equipped and labeled. Bedding and living spaces are comfy.

This was a perfect, relaxing get-away location. We will certainly be back!!! The view was awesome, and given that we went in March, when it was a bit to chilly to sunbathe or swim, being able to enjoy the waves from the house was ideal!! The beds and sofas were comfy! Plenty of seating for games and movies and dinner! We really appreciated that all the kitchen drawers and cabinets were clearly labeled and we had everything we needed. Also appreciated having some storage containers for our leftovers. It was a nice touch to have some salt and pepper there too!

Great location. Comfortable home. Will definitely return. The kitchen is very well equipped. Microwave was in a very low hard to use spot. Beds were very comfortable. Need screens in windows and doors to keep out flies.

The house was nice, updated kitchen and bathrooms were great. The view was spectacular. The kitchen was very nice. All beds and sitting areas were comfy. Televisions were not easy to use.

Was really happy with all! Had everything we wanted except storage for our food. The only recommendation I have is hooks in the shower for bathing suits and get rid of the chairs in the bedrooms. They take up too much space.

This lovely home was more than a beach rental - it was a home away from home! No cheap beach furniture or decor. Very comfortable and loved the extra fridge in the "family room" for beer and sodas! Great bathrooms too! Great outdoor options - loved, what we called, the sky lounge, the hammocks and the hot tub!

Will be renting this unit again. Kitchen was redone nicely. This home had everything needed.

This home had all the amenities we needed. Great house! We enjoyed it so much, we decided to book it again for one of its only other available weeks left this year. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The beds we comfortable, but small. My only recommendation is, a few things in the house were broken and not fixed properly. Besides that, great little house in a wonderful location. Can’t beat those views!

House was nice. We liked it and would stay here again! Would have liked to have seen a few more pots and pans in the kitchen. Otherwise, was stocked pretty well. No real problem just a few different sizes of pots and pans would be nice. The beds were comfy and had plenty of seating in living room. We liked the den in the middle of the house, but the tv remotes didn't work well. The TV in master bedroom worked, but to get on the movie apps it asked you to sign up and pay.

Another wonderful experience at My Blue Heaven. This is my 2nd year in a row vacationing at My Blue Heaven and I can't say enough how wonderful this gem of a house is! The crows nest is great from morning coffee watching the sunrise through enjoying dinner while listening to the waves. The living room/dining room has so much natural light and windows you always get a great view of the ocean. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need on your vacation. I have researched many small houses in the OBX and this by far is top notch! Beach dredging of 2019 was ongoing during the week, however they have moved north and the beach is now so much wider than previous years, I can't wait to fully experience the expanded beach on my next visit. Thank you again for allowing me to enjoy this gem of a house on my vacation!

We stayed in this house with my brother and sister-in-law and absolutely fell in love with it. It is so beautifully decorated, comfortable and cozy. We even hunkered down while tropical storm Leslie passed over us and built jigsaw puzzles, drank wine and had a wonderful evening. We will go back to this house again and again, the screened porch is awesome, the higher deck is great for star gazing and ocean views and the beach never ceases to offer those relaxing sounds of ocean waves. We highly recommend My Blue Heaven!

Fabulous beach rental! It was clean and had everything we needed plus more! We loved the screened in porch and the deck on top - many of our meals were eaten outside in both places. Thanks for a wonderful summer 2018 vacation.

What a great vacation in a great house in South Nags Head!! My Blue Heaven is the best "small" house that I have found in OBX! The living space is well decorated, clean and full of views of the ocean from everywhere in the Living Room, Dining and Kitchen. The kitchen was very well stocked and has everything you could need! The screened in porch was the best!! We spent every night out there for dinner, playing games and listening to the ocean and the ceiling fan came in handy on warmer evenings. The location is in quiet neighborhoods with all smaller houses and much less dense than further north in OBX. This house was such a delight and I loved every minute of my vacation in My Blue Heaven!!!

Great getaway! Home met all expectations and my family had a wonderful retreat away from city chaos and the business world! Great cottage for smaller group as was my family - just 6 -quiet street - direct access to beach - lovely mornings on the oceanfront deck - loved the crows nest! Decor is pleasant and home is extremely comfortable. So cute! Kudo's to the owners!!

My husband and I rented this lovely 4/2 home to celebrate my 61st. birthday with our niece's family. What a treat! This home is beyond expectations - the photos here need to be updated as they don't do the place justice. Oceanfront, with beach and ocean views from every front room. Location location location!!! At the beachfront end of a private sand road with plenty of parking. All one level living, except the set of stairs to enter the house. Beautiful and thoughtful decor throughout. Comfortable beds with gorgeous bedding (we brought our own sheets/towels). We slept like logs every single night, with a few afternoon naps snuck in! All open floor plan on the ocean side perfect for eating, relaxing, TV watching and games. Fabulous kitchen with beautiful cabinets and every imaginable things you could possibly want to cook and serve with. A dream kitchen! We found the island a great place to sit and chat while cooking or loading dishes in the dishwasher. Side by side refrigerator allowed the little ones to get their own snacks, and water/ice from the front. Our 4 year old was fascinated with the ability to get her own cups of ice water :) Another great feature is the second living space in the bedroom area. The children loved watching TV and cuddling with the grownups before bed time. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom for some privacy - bathrooms were terrific, especially the shower in our bath. It's like a spa! Many a pleasant morning spent on the full-length beachfront porch drinking coffee and watching the waves roll in. Then for the afternoon, we switched to the screened in room where we usually enjoyed the rest of the day. Could hardly pull ourselves away from the house for any sight seeing - but we did! More amenities and things we loved: TV's for everyone, plenty of storage (cabinets and dressers so cute!); Crow's nest for the younger adults to use; abundance of spots to view the ocean; sand under the house for the kids to play with their toys; quick walk over the dune to the beach - we could see our family easily from the porch - when enable everyone to go back to the house easily; wonderful time viewing dolphins every day/ ghost crabs / birds / fish / even an Orca whale came by one day! What an adventure the whole trip was! Two items to mention: the beaches had been recently renourished, so the beach access right outside the house was actually a dune. For those who are elderly or have health problems this is an issue. Also, this is not a complaint because I feel sure this is on the owners' list to take care of - the outdoor screen room was missing some screens and needed sanding/painting from previous storms. But that didn't impede the views and total enjoyment of the space! This home was worth every penny and the owners have thought of every single thing for your comfort and living during your time there. Thanks to the owners for a indescribable vacation, and Sun Realty couldn't have been easier to deal with - the agency even scored and extra day for us since we just hated to leave!
