Pelican’s Perch features all of the most important amenities for you perfect beach getaway. The 6-person hot tub is located on the top deck with year-round ocean views and cool evening breezes in the summer. This home is also pet friendly so your four-legged family members are welcome to come too. They will love lounging on the oceanfront decks which have been gated just for them, or you may use the dog crate for your pet's comfort. Lastly, a heated pool ($400 charge to heat the pool) and cabana for your daily fun in the sun.
The top level features a 45' x 20' great room with cathedral ceilings offering panoramic views of both ocean and sound. The spacious kitchen with a large breakfast bar and prep area has an extensive sound view. The large dining room table comfortably seats ten. The top level screened porch provides a lovely second dining area that seats 8, just off the main dining area so that you may serve your meals al fresco whenever you like. The large king en suite with private bath is located on the north side of the house and has a private entrance to the oceanfront sun deck.
The mid level has the other 4 bedrooms, a hall bath, a second screened porch with a sitting area, and the laundry area. The whole family will love the new Foosball table too!
On the ground level, a ¾ bath and refrigerator have been installed for your vacationing convenience. Imagine, not having to run all the way into the house with sandy feet to get a cold beverage! There is also lockable storage for your convenience. Truly, everyone is thought of and cared for.
Off-Season features include a fireplace in the great room to ward off those chilly evenings and the hot tub which is available year-round. The pool is available from the second week of April - the third week of October.
This property will offer complementary sheets, towels, and bed making for all full week reservation in 2023

amazing house
This house is amazing and one of the best ones we have ever rented! Had everything you could possibly need! The kitchen had absolutely everything you could possibly need!! We thought all of the beds and furniture was very comfy!!

We really enjoyed
We really enjoyed our stay! The house has everything you can need and it’s apparent how much thought was put into every detail to use the space exactly as you want. The kitchen was incredibly well appointed - probably the best of any house I’ve ever stayed in! Beds and sofas were comfortable. We and our dog especially loved the gated decks so he could freely roam the deck anytime we were outside.

The house was great! The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were fine. The tv's did not work in every room or needed instructions on how to get them to work. Maybe label the lights some appeared not to work - not a deal breaker.

Enjoyed the uncrowded beach and the kids really enjoyed the pool! Everything was well thought out. Having the outdoor shower and bathroom and refrigerator was nice. We were glad for the gates on the decks. We had a great time!

Pelican's Perch...Absolute Heaven.
This was our very first family vacation. This house was amazing. Plenty of space, there was only 5 of us, and plenty of rooms. Everything was very clean and neat. Kitchen was spotless and spacious. Plenty of amenities and was stocked with everything you need. The decks were perfect....especially because of the view they offer. Pool, hot tub and Ocean all within your reach, what more can you ask for? Our 2nd day into our vacation the owner called to say hello and to ask if everything was up to par. I really liked that a lot,it shows that he cares and wants the renter to be comfortable and happy in his house and that was greatly appreciated. The ocean is just a short walk through the dunes (and crabs and sand spurs, haha) and then.....heaven. We liked it so much that we booked it again the day we got home for October 2015. Perfect weather that time of year, not too hot and not too cold. Cant go wrong with this property as your vacation destination.....

Pelican's Perch
We spent the week of Christmas 2013 at this fabulous beach house. Well layed out home with plenty of indoor and outdoor space to enjoy. Great access to the beach which is very quiet. We were extremely comfortable! Hope to make it back during the warmer months.

Family Vacation
This is a beautiful beach house with plenty of room for family and pets. The pool area is great and includes a full bathroom and indoor shower as well as an outdoor shower as well as a refrigerator. The decks are individually gated which is great for children and pets. The kitchen is roomy and well stocked. Appliances are in good condition and there are two dishwashers, which is great for those big family meals. The laundry facilities are in good condition. The hot tub could use an update, but it was adequate. The only real downside to this property is that the beach access is typical for this part of the Outer Banks, so you are back behind the dunes and cannot really see the beach.

Family Vacation
We stayed at the Pelican's Perch from 6/23/12-6/30/12. This was our first visit to OBX and we loved it! The photos do not do the property justice. There is ample space for everyone. We had 9 people and 1 dog in our party. Home is clean and well appointed. It is spacious and homey so you don't feel like everything is fragile! You can definitely relax and feel right at home! The decks are great, hot tub relaxing, pool is clean and private. I would suggest a game room if possible but that isn't a deal breaker! Thought is was a nice gesture that the home owner called to make sure we were satisifed. Great service and so easy to book..grab keys and kick back! That's what vacation is all about! We will be returning! Thanks!

Spring Break
Couldn't ask for a more relaxing environment to spend quality time with family. The house is large enough for family and extended relatives to enjoy their time together or seek solace in the quiet comforts of their well appointed rooms.
The kitchen had ample cookware, service dishes, and flatware. I would definitely stay there again. Plus, my brother, (the lone fisherman in the family) caught a 150 lbs sand tiger shark .
