4 Paws Inn is a family and pet-friendly house located in a quiet residential neighborhood in Nags Head. This house provides the best of both worlds, located only 700 feet from a beach access and across the highway from the hiking trails of Nags Head Woods. With a big back yard, you can spend lots of time relaxing with all of the family, even the four-legged ones. Play horseshoes, grill out some dinner on the gas grill or sun on the crow’s nest.

The Bonnett Street beach access is one of the most well-appointed accesses, with plenty of parking (should you choose to drive), restroom and shower facilities, beach volleyball court, and a lifeguarded beach. Also nearby is the Nags Head Fishing Pier, where you can reel in a fresh catch, or simply watch other anglers try their hand at fishing and crabbing. The Outer Banks Family YMCA is also a short drive away, and offers guest passes for a day or the week. 4 Paws Inn has everything a small family could ask for in a fun-filled family vacation spot!

Great Location

Just back from a last minute vacation to OBX. Picked this cottage because it was one of the few left that allowed pets. The location is great and near lots of things. For anyone that bicycles the street in front is great for any age. Our 8YO racked up dozens of miles. Jockey's Ridge is less than 10 minutes away by bike. Food Lion is also less than 10 minutes and you don't have to cross any major streets. I'm giving 5 stars because for the price the place is great and it is also a great location. We had a slight issue with the linens because there were originally 2 different descriptions where one said 2 queens and 2 twins but when we arrived it was 1 king and 3 queens. I see Sun Realty has fixed this. We were also very surprised to have the sheets provided for the beds which was a plus since we didn't bring king size. Sun Realty should probably update the description to reflect that sheets are provided. Only a few issues cropped up. Ice Maker is a little finicky but this is probably due to the age and type of refrigerator. All the TV's have been updated. All TV's have cable and it appears the master control box is in the bedroom with the 2 queens instead of the master bedroom or living room. Found this out because the channels are slightly different as to what you get. Would be nice to have a channel guide to use as a cross reference. Pictures on Sun Realty are outdated. There is a house built on each side of this one that is not reflected in the photos. Found out a few days into the stay that there was a baby gate between the washer and dryer. Would be great if it would go a few inches wider so it will work at the top of the steps on either front or back deck. We almost went to the store to buy a new one due to this slight issue. Would be great if there as a hose available for rinsing things off. Internet in the house would be great as well but it was nice to be away for a week. The bathroom in the master bedroom does not have a vent fan and the outlet does not appear to be ground fault protected. Those two things should probably be updated from the owner side. All in all a great cottage in a great location. If you plan on staying here bring your bicycles or rent from one of the great little bicycle shops on OBX. We brought the adult bikes and rented children's bikes.

Toby loved it

The dog really liked it here so the rest of us did, too. Roomy, peaceful and well appointed. Definitely hope to stay here again.

Beach Bums had a great time

The house was great. Very comfortable furniture. Nice sized bedrooms. I would give this house 5 stars except for the fact that the TVs/DVD players need updating and there is no Internet/WIFI access.

Purrrfect!

We were so pleased with our experience in this house. The open areas were comfortable and the bedrooms provided privacy. The crow's nest provided a beautiful view of the night sky. The outdoor shower was effective for rinsing off. The front porch was perfect for pretending to have breakfast in a tree house or for just rocking the evening away. The location was excellent for beach access with a bath house, Galaxy golf, Secret Spot Surf Shop, and Tortuga's Lie (restaurant). Can't wait to go again!

Loved it!

We loved the house. The house has been remodeled and everything seemed new. We had a party of 6 adults and 4 children and we fit comfortably in this house. We also had two large dogs and the private yard was perfect to accommodate them. Will stay again.
