great house to stay in
This was a great house to stay in. The Kitchen had most of what we needed and all beds and sofas were really comfy.

loved waking up to dolphins
Great house! Loved waking up to dolphins. Stairs to beach were a little rough. Sofas and chairs were very comfy. Beds were very stiff. Not used to that is all. There was lots of extras in the kitchen! The only thing I would say is it was very small and hard to cook for 20 people without being in each other’s way constantly!

great house
Great house in a great location. Double refrigerators and dishwashers were so helpful. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils. Comforters and bedding could use an update.

perfect house with amazing view
Perfect house for us with an amazing view. Loved the main floor and the elevator came in handy for older members in the group. The kitchen was well stocked for our needs. We did a lot of cooking. Loved having two refrigerators! One of the dishwashers was not able to be used. We got by! Main rooms furnishings were perfect. Most bedding was comfortable. Being the end of the season, a few bedspreads needed to be repaired. Decking, game room, grills, pool area were well used and enjoyed. Location to the pier, shopping, restaurants was wonderful. Beach was perfect. We are coming back next year!

just what we needed
Bedrooms and living space was just what we needed! The kitchen had everything we needed! Our only complaint is the pool light did not work and the previous people didn’t take the trash to to curb which caused us to have an overflow of trash.

wonderful week
Bunk beds need new mattresses, couch is comfy and the white chairs by the window are amazing. Kitchen was very well equipped. We did have a wonderful week and the house is amazing.

Excellent house !
We loved this house. We had 9 children and 10 adults for most of the week. Beds & bedrooms were good. We had enough seating for everyone during meals. There was ample seating around the TV. An extremely short walk to the ocean was great, so we didn't need to haul all our stuff for a long distance. Kitchen was well equipped. The 2 refrigerators were very helpful. As we expected, we had a few maintenance needs during the week, but Sun took care of them very quickly. The only upgrade I would suggest is taller chairs on the deck, so we could view the beach w/o looking through the railing. We have reserved it for next year.

We rented 485A for a family group vacation with 16 adults, 4 children and 3 babies. The spaciousness of this house is wonderful. We had plenty of room for everyone! The elevator was very helpful for luggage, groceries, etc. The furnishings in the home are just adequate. The upholstered pieces show some significant wear but with so many little children, that allowed us not to worry too much about damaging something fancy. The carpet is quite worn which, along with its grey/beige shag style, gives the house a dirty feel. Also, the beds are sorely in need of new mattresses -- several of our group said their mattresses were terrible. New bed linens would help the house look cleaner and less worn. We were disappointed that both the pools had sand in them when we arrived and were not cleaned during the week (although chlorine was added). None of the ice makers worked very well, so we had to buy ice. We had a great week together and were grateful for the room to spread out, so none of these issues spoiled our vacation. We do feel that the house is overpriced in its current condition and that the replacement of the mattresses and the carpet would be major improvements.

After spending months looking at homes online in Nags Head for a quilt retreat for 11 women I stumbled upon Sheila at Sun Realty! Thank goodness!!!! She was my 4th realtor. I explained what I needed and for what purpose. I had narrowed down my choices to two. We agreed on 485A. Finally March 5 th 2016 came and we were moving in. What a house! It was perfect in every way. The house had everything we needed. There were a few minor mainentance issues that were taken care of within an hour each time. We have already booked for the same week next year! You will not go wrong with this house or calling Sheila at Sun Realty to help you book your stay. Thanks for a wonderful week. Can't wait for next year!

Sandcastle
Our family loved the spaciousness of the house. In addition to the main living area and game room, there were another 2 separate sitting areas. The kids (and adults) loved the wading pool. The hot tub on the second floor permitted a view of the ocean. It was covered so this was helpful if it was raining or if you didn’t want to get sun. We had a few minor issues which Sun Reality property took care of to our satisfaction. There were enough master bedrooms, baths and parking for 7 family’s plus kids. We definitely want to return!

Adequate Beach House
We had a great vacation but we were disappointed in some of the "amenities." Only a few of the TVs were hooked to cable which made the others pretty useless so for those that fall asleep to a TV it was annoying not to have the option. There were 2 toasters and neither worked. There weren't enough forks, we ended up having to purchase forks. The couches in the main living area were worn. The house carried noise so trying to get children sleeping and keeping them asleep was a challenge. We had three ice makers and for most of the week only one worked, we did finally get ice from a second one before the week was out. There were lamps that had no light bulb and lamps that had bulbs burned out. Someone for pool maintenance came and cleaned the large pool but not the kiddie pool. The hot tub is on the second floor balcony outside of one of the bedrooms which made the bedroom view bad and if anyone used the tub after the people in the room went to sleep it woke them up. These are small issues by themselves but combined were frustrating when we think of the amount of money we spent for these accommodations.

Great Time
Great house. There is plenty of room for everyone and you never feel like you are too crowded. The top floor with the living and kitchen offer amazing views. Over all the house was very clean however, when you pay this amount of money for a weeks stay you shouldn't have to rent a grill and there should be simple kitchen appliances that work properly. Like the toasters. They are not expensive items to buy and even with two of them it took forever to toast. The grill provided with the house was so nasty we had to rent one for the week. And the house provides linens but we got one towel person so we were doing laundry all week long. Those are minor things but again when you pay 14,000 a week, things like that should work!! Overall, wonderful experience, loved the house and all the rooms and centrally located!

Thanks Keli for your feedback. As we have mentioned in our comments above, we are updating all appliances including the small appliances and have already installed a new grill. If you decide to rent our home again next season, we hope you will have an even better experience.
Wonderful Vacation
We had a wonderful stay. The house met our needs. The grandkids loved the small pool. Great views. Close to grocery stores. Enjoyed the entire stay.

A wonderful House and company
This has been our second year using Sun Realty,first year in Sandcastle and I have to say that they are First rate. We could not have been more pleased. The house was amazing. We had a couple of minor issues that Sun corrected right away. If you want a stress free vacation then I would vacationat Sandcastle. We had my family as well as my in-laws in this huge house. The great room is huge and you never feel crowdwed anywhere in this house. I would recommend this house to anyone with a big family. There is nothing better than being oceanfront with your own pool as well.

This is a wonderful house.
This is a wonderful house. I had my family and my husbands family stay here with us. It was the week of our Wedding (at the Hilton Garden inn) and our families loved every inch of this house. We recommend this place - it has great views and many rooms. It was just a great place to be!!!!!!!!!! we loved it.
