Welcome to Higher Ground, a gorgeous, one-of-a-kind custom home centrally located just steps from the sound in Kitty Hawk.

This vibrant and unique coastal home offers classic character and fine details at every turn, including a reclaimed shipwreck piece used as the banister post, a sailboat mast repurposed as columns, custom doors, flush mount cabinets, and more.

Two separate living areas provide plenty of space for the family to spread out. On the ground level, you will find a queen en suite with a private bath, a bedroom with 2 twin beds, and a full hall bath, as well as a cozy den, a kitchenette with a full-sized refrigerator and a washer and dryer, and a dining area. Sliding doors open to the fenced-in backyard with a large saltwater pool, poolside seating, a hot tub, and a convenient outdoor shower.

The mid level boasts a comfortable living area with vaulted ceilings, as well as a large dining area and a galley-style kitchen with a breakfast nook. Two queen bedrooms, a full hall bath, and an office can also be found on this level.

The top level is dedicated to the king en suite with a custom closet, a large private bath with a separate washer and dryer, and a balcony with seating, perfect for sound and sunset views.

Located on a quiet street with nearby access to the Wright Brothers sound side multi-use path, nightly walks to watch the sunset will be your new favorite vacation tradition. The home is also located close to golf courses and other attractions.
