pool area nice
Garage pool table is nice area to hang in. Pool area is a nice size. Living area small for amount of people house could hold. Lighting was horrible.

Good house. The kitchen had everything we needed for the week. The ceiling fans in the bedrooms are loud.

Hidden Treasure
This house is worth renting. The pool is a huge bonus not to mention the layout of the house...perfect.
A few things we think could use extra attention: the sun deck for sure!!! The railings did not seem very secure as they were a little wobbly. Some of the boards along both decks need to be replaced or resecured. The kitchen could use a proper restocking of additional cookware considering the house sleeps 10, one set of pots and pans isnt enough. A sturdy set of cooking utensils would also be a huge improvement. There were plenty of coffee mugs and silverware.
The pool table is fun for entertaining in the evenings or on a rainy day however we were a little disppointed to have been surprised by the owners SUV being stored on the otherside of the garage. Granted this space isnt listed as a feature however the pictures of this house shows an open space. We were looking forward to the space as an indoor play area for rhe litttle ones. Our family enjoyed the house and our vacation again it is a hidden treasure!!!

Home Away From Home.
We had a blast staying in this roomy and homey cottage! The house was decorated wonderfully and we couldn't ask for much more in a cottage!
Pros
The newly installed pool was a life saver on days you were just too lazy to get out to the beach.
The pool table in the garage is awesome and much of our time was spent out there having pool tournaments.
The kitchen was stocked with plenty of kitchen tools, which made it much easier for me to cook on vacation.
Cons
There seemed to be a bit of an ant problem from the get go, but that's more the cleaning crews fault than the cottages.
The second floor hallway bath tub seems extremely rickety. When you get in it it buckles if you don't stand directly on the support beam.
I could go on and on about the merits of this cottage. It seems well loved and the owners have made vast improvements. I would love to rent this cottage again next year, many fond memories from here.

We want to note from a previous review that the soft floor under one of the bathtubs has been corrected. In addition, we are happy to announce that in early 2015 we are adding a hot tub and a new ground floor restroom which will be very convenient to the pool area. We hope our guests enjoy Cape Myers as much as we do and we look forward to an exciting 2015.
*Please note that bed and bath linens are not a standard amenity. Guests may bring their own bed sheets and bath towels from home or you may rent them from Sun Realty for a reasonable weekly price.
