You will need to cross Rt 12 (Beach Rd) to access the beach. Boone proximity to a local surfing hotspot makes for an ideal location with the beach and surrounding areas providing easy access to restaurants, shopping, and just those looking for a casual, safe beach day with the kids. Just to the south, only a few feet away you have just that, with a lifeguarded beach manned daily from Memorial Day to the end of September. For food and entertainment, two of the only oceanfront restaurants/bars and local hot spots, Black Pelican and Hurricane Mo’s, are both easy walks right out the front door of Boone Dune. Also, less than a mile away and perfect lunch spots after a day at the beach, Capt'n Franks and John’s Drive-In lay in wait, one famous for hot dogs and the other milkshakes, both local institutions in Kitty Hawk for over 40 years. All within a mile, when we say this conveniently located condo is in the heart of Kitty Hawk it truly is the epicenter of our little beach town.
