Multiple restaurants and coffee shops are less than half a mile from Made It II, as well as family-friendly activities such as the playground at Hayman Park, and Paradise Fun Park, boasting mini-golf, bumper cars, an arcade, and more.
Offering plenty of beach parking, the lifeguarded (in-season) Hayman Street beach access is less than half a mile from Made It II. In the early evenings, walk or bike to the end of the street to the pedestrian-friendly soundside Bay Drive to catch one of the OBX's jaw-dropping sunsets.

wonderful house
This was a wonderful house for our small family vacation. The location was great with easy access to the beach another street & a walk/bike ride to the sound. And then there was the salt water lovely lovely pool. The host also left fun games & toys in the shed & closets. We so very much enjoyed this peaceful & fun & relaxing family vacation!

Perfect location and clean
We have a 5 year old and 3 year and this was the best cottage for us. Our girls dont really swim in the ocean because they are so little so having the pool was ideal. It goes from 3ft to 5ft and it's a great size. The best beach access was 2 roads down to the right with plenty of parking. The sound access pier was nice. It's a short walk but we drove because of the little ones and there was places to park right at the access. There was also a nice public park a few streets down that was nice to take them to. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfy. There is a nice place to eat outside but theres no grill so you will have to bring one. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again!
