This five-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom beautiful vacation home is centrally located in Kill Devil Hills along a quiet stretch of the beach only a few steps (35 yards) to the direct beach access at the end of Atlantic Street (crossing Virginia Dare Trail, Route 12). This across the street beach access also provides Kill Devil Hills Lifeguards in the summer months.
The home is also within easy walking or biking distance to several local favorite restaurants. The third floor of the home provides spectacular views of the ocean and the hydraulic elevator makes unloading luggage, supplies and groceries a snap!
Guests of all ages will love the beach access, views, approximate 12x24 private pool, spacious hot tub, Foosball, elevator and all the dining and shopping close by.
Pool (approximate 12x24) and hot tub open the 2nd week of May through the 2nd week of September. Should you have any questions regarding the pool or hot tub at your vacation home, please feel free to contact us.
Sheets and towels are not provided, but can be purchased for an additional fee.
Please note: There is a safety alarm on the sliding glass door leading out to the pool. This is to help prevent small children using the door and gaining access to the pool area unsupervised.

close to the beach
The house is very close to the beach and the elevator is a plus for our handicap parents! The mattresses are terrible. Especially the King and Full size bed on the middle level.

Comfortable house. We throughly enjoyed our time with extended family. Very convenient to the beach access. The kitchen is well supplied. 2nd floor queen bed was too soft. We would love to be able to bring our dog; otherwise, the amenities are sufficient

Loved the location, proximity to beach access and the pool and hot tub. Beds were a welcome site at the end of a long day at the beach or poolside. Kitchen was equipped nicely. A pot scrubber or abrasive pad would have been nice. Maybe update the large skillet. All in all had a great week with our family. 84 year old mother, my two adult daughters. their boyfriends.

Love the location. Beds were fine. King bed on second level a little too high to get in easily. Would be nice to have an outside table and chairs on the front deck.

This was an awesome house! So close to the beach and accessible to our favorite restaurants, shopping etc! Kitchen, equipped nicely!! Great bedding accommodations! We are coming back next year!!

loved the house
We loved the house and proximity to the beach! Kitchen was well stocked. King beds are too firm for our liking and too high for most, especially for a disabled person in the upstairs bedroom. Living room furniture was comfy and spacious.

felt beachfront
This house had almost everything we were looking for. We were fortunate that the lot directly in front of the house on the beachfront was empty and we felt beachfront. It was a nice bonus! Luckily there was no construction going on and there wasn't a huge big home in our view. The pantry closet was great. Lots of equipment. Better sharp knifes and a bottle opener would have been nice to have. The ice maker in the refrigerator did not work for us. The beds were nice. Seating in living area was nice.

love house so much
We love the house so much, we reserved it for next year. The kitchen was well-equipped, lots of cooking tools And very clean. It was a spacious kitchen. I would recommend putting a trash compactor in there. All the beds were awesome. It would be nice if our beds were made when we got there.

Decor could use some updated. Everything felt a little thrown together. The kitchen was well equipped, toaster appears to be on the fritz and never browns anything. Beds were hard but livable.

liked the location
House was fine but needs a few updates. Really liked the location. The kitchen is was fine but easy to hit head on stove hood. Not much room between stove and fridge. Ice maker didn’t work very well. All beds were comfortable but need some softer pillows. Sofa could use pillows and kitchen chairs were hard - some chair pads would be nice.

Great cottage!
This cottage definitely has it all! Great location right on public beach access with lifeguard. Good food choices within walking distance 2 blocks in either direction. Nicely decorated, well equipped and maintained. It has plenty of kitchen gadgets (no Keurig though, just a regular coffee pot). There is a charcoal grill that appears to be new and there is even grilling equipment to go with it. Every floor has 2 decks. Kitchens are on top/3rd floor and second kitchen (and bath) on ground/1st floor. Kitchen table 3rd floor seats 8 with 2 more places at kitchen island. There is a smaller 4-seat bar-height table in living room (also 3rd floor) if needed. Bedrooms: top floor, 1 king + full bath; 2nd floor: 1 king + full bath, 2 twins, 1 full + 1 twin, 1 queen + full bath (additional full bath 2nd floor)
