Launch your kayak or paddle board across the street at the free public access located adjacent to the Hatteras Island Ocean Center. Bring your best friend to the beach with you since the house is pet friendly. (Please note, dogs only).
The large concrete carport offers easy under the house entry. As you go up to the first main level you will find bedroom one with a king bed, and one bedroom with a pyramid bunk and both bedrooms share a full bath and deck access. Bedroom three is a queen en suite with a full bath and deck access. A laundry area and half bath complete this floor.
On the top level there is a spacious great room with cathedral ceilings, comfortable furnishings and a large deck perfect for relaxing as the sun sets. The kitchen is equipped with a breakfast bar, tile floors and granite countertops. The dining area has a large table with plenty of room for the whole family. The king en suite features a private deck entrance and full bath with a jetted tub. Both the bedroom and bath have a 43” flat screen tv.
Outside in the pool area, you can spend the day floating in the private pool. A wooden boardwalk is located at the end of Hatteras Escape Road making beach access a breeze. Break out the fishing gear and set a line...you may just catch the big one. You are conveniently located close to many great restaurants, marinas, and shops. The ferry to Ocracoke is a short drive away. Jolly Mon is just right. Please note, this home does not provide a landline phone.

fantastic house
Fantastic house! It was gorgeous - the pool was a little too cold to use as it was in the shade all day, but it was a short walk to the beach, excellent beach access, and we enjoyed the hot tub and the deck. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed - we cooked all of our meals at the house and there was a good selection of pans, utensils, etc. The mattresses were excellent and we all slept well here. The house is beautiful and had everything we could want!

The house was amazing! We only slept in the master bedroom but out of all the houses we’ve ever stayed in the master bed was the best by far. The kitchen was perfect.

dog friendly with a pool!
Dog friendly with a pool is great!! Bedding and living areas are all very comfortable. Stock pot & more utensils for the kitchen would be very nice!

Great house, but it would be nice not to worry about keys - keyless entry would be a great feature as well as upgrading the beds.

Jolly Mon was a beautiful home and was very accommodating for our family to stay! We enjoyed the pool area and short walk to the beach. The hottub was great for the rainy days we had. Both the beach and sound are a short walk and can be seen from the outside deck!! Across the street was a walkway out toward the sound where we saw INCREDIBLE sunsets! We brought our golf cart and took advantage of the golf-cart friendly town. Nice amenities and accommodations throughout the home everything worked great-- had no issues. It was great we could bring our dog too :)
The bunkbed in the children's room is awesome-- great kid & pet friendly home. We even saw the ice cream truck a few times!

Beautiful house and great location. Just a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Couldn't ask for anything better! Lots to do and close to the ferry. Nice relaxing time spent with family. Oh did I mention there is also a pool, which is great when you want to stay close to the house.
