great house
Great house in a great location. The home was incredibly well suited. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could’ve needed. The beds were fine. No issues. Perfect distance from the beach access.

can’t wait to go back
The location of the property was great! Semi ocean front, but the house across the street was smaller so we still had a great view. Beach access was 2 houses down and the house was centrally located between the 2 shopping areas so access to stores was easy. This home had everything we needed! The only thing we wished it had was a heater for the pool. But, outside of that, there was nothing the property was lacking! The beds and living room furniture were comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped for our needs. Plenty of dishes and cookware needed for anything we needed. All appliances worked great and the layout was perfect. The house was great for our family. If it wasn’t for having another, bigger house booked for next year (more family members coming) we would be staying here again! But, we will plan for it the following year. Can’t wait to go back!

Perfect house for a family with small kids. Pool offers a large wading area for kids who cannot swim. Kitchen was well stocked. One mattress was quite soft.

House is nice. Comfy beds. Kitchen keurig for coffee would be nice. Appears to have a bug problem. We had an unusual amount of spiders.

Warm house unless you kept ceiling fans on. Couldn’t regulate the furnace. The kitchen was very well equipped. Beds were hard for some guests comfort.

thermostat has been replaced
Thank you for the feedback. The owners also noticed the Nest thermostat that was there was very erratic and never worked properly. Great news! The old thermostat has been removed and replaced with a new thermostat that now works fine.
Couldn't ask for anything more!
My family and I had the pleasure of staying in Castle Dune in Mid-September and fell in love with the home and location. The house has recently been redone from top-to-bottom and it seems like everything was laid out perfectly. The decor gave a wonderful contemporary, beach feel and the view is breathtaking when you walk in. The vaulted ceiling really opens up the kitchen/living room area. My husband and I traveled with our 7 month old daughter and my parents. The house was the perfect amount of space for us and would have been fine with another couple or a couple other kids. I have to say, this was one vacation where I couldn't wait to get up in the morning to get my cup of coffee and sit out on the balcony to watch the sun come up. We spent most of our time in the home enjoying the beautiful pool and grilling. Our daughter loved the pool, playing with the built in waterfalls and the LED lights at night were a big hit! When we did want to venture out, it was so nice to have the cute restaurants and shops of Duck such a short drive away. We wouldn't change anything about Castle Dune and can't wait to make this an annual trip!
