This home accepts mini-vacation and is a great choice for long weekend getaways in the fall!
The Tuckahoe community outdoor pool is open from mid-May through early October in 2023. 2024 community pool dates are TBD.

loved our stay
Beds are comfortable but definitely showing their age, layout was great though. The kitchen was very well equipped with nice dishes and glasses. We did not cook this time but it definitely had everything that one would need. The house was great for us for this week and let us bring our dog. Distance to beach and tennis court were perfect. I do think that the house is very well maintained but it is a bit outdated and the property was clean enough but not super clean. The hot tub was amazing and we used it everyday. We loved loved our stay.

Tuk-25 was Awesome!!
It had everything that you could ever need under one roof, it was close to both the pool and the beach and my family enjoyed being there and hated to leave. If I had one complaint it would be that it has not elevator or handicap access making it hard for people with bad knees to climb all of those steps. Otherwise, I would recommend this place for anyone who is looking a great place near Duck, NC.

Just like home, but at the beach. We are repeat visitors of A Shore Thing and love it. Clean, comfortable and a great location. Close to the beach, and the Town of Duck.
