The house was nice. We didn't like the beach location. Too narrow and crowded. Sofas were nice and newish Beds were too soft and too small. I am not sure they were queen size. Kitchen was clean and had everything we needed.

It would have been nice to have a golf cart to drive to and from the beach. Pool was great! There was no umbrella by the pool. Beds and sofas were fine. Kitchen was fine but the freezer broke and everything melted.

Pool is great, close walk to the beach. Kitchen well equipped. Mattresses were on firm side.

Sofas were comfy. Bed mattresses could be a bit softer. Make sure previous guests know to set out water jugs so they can be refilled before the following guest. We had an infant who eats formula and no filtered water to use.

Very clean and well taken care of. Finally a clean outdoor shower! Nice Kitchen. Everything was comfortable, lots of nails on deck were popped. Our bare feet got bit a few times.

We just left Third Wish and I wanted to give my feedback. The house is great! The pool, even better! We loved the location, as it's just a quick walk to restaurants and Duck Donuts! It's also pretty close to the beach! The pool looks brand new, is well maintained and is larger than most of the small pools you see in OBX! Our family really enjoyed nighttime swims in the pool! The furniture and accommodations in the house were very nice and relatively new. Our only complaints are that the carpet is pretty dirty, the HVAC filter really needs to be changed, and the bathtub does not drain well. We called in the tub and filter issue and no one ever showed up to fix it. We had also reported a large amount of ants in the living room and mold in the tile shower, which were resolved on the same day. But the tub was a problem the entire trip. No one likes showering and standing in 4" of dirty water. A few tips to the owner - the carpet needs replaced badly. The house needs a good cleaning especially under the beds. If you added steps down to the pool from the top floor deck on the back side of the house and some more lights out back, this would then be the perfect rental in the perfect location. We stayed here with out 3 boys and had a wonderful time. Location is perfect - close too town and beach. The boys really enjoyed the pool as an option when the beach was too windy. Bedroom update is really nice - new comforters and we loved the big showerhead. Family room is a nice size for all of us to enjoy the TV and play games at the table. Highly recommend it! We hope to return next year.
