This oceanfront condo is the perfect location for your family vacation in the heart of Duck and is only a few feet from the nearest beach access. Beautifully decorated and well-maintained, this condo is ideal for small families looking for a memorable beach getaway.

When you stay at Beachcomber you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy all the community amenities of Colony by the Sea. The oceanfront pool has large sundecks with grilling areas and picnic tables nearby. Community tennis courts, basketball courts and playground areas are great for wearing out the kids and access to the community WiFi will keep you connected to home. A coin-operated laundry facility is also available. Please note, the community pool closes on October 15, 2024. Colony By The Sea Community amenities are currently being updated. New pictures coming soon.

Please note, mattress sizes for bunk bed is not a normal twin size, they are 5 feet in length.

There is no elevator available at this unit or building.

COS-324 is not pet friendly.

Overall

This was the second year we stayed at this exact condo. Everything you could need was provided in the kitchen. Furniture was comfy but honestly we spent all our time on the deck. It has dinning table and chairs as well as bar height table and chairs. We have all our meals outside which is lovely! It has the best view because of the sunroom you get the front and side view of the ocean. The other condo that mirrors this one in the opposite building has a house right next to it so it doesn’t feel as private. We love this location as well.

Overall

Great condo could use a few tweaks taller commodes include the towels and linen Service. Comfortable furniture bed was in good shape. We did not use the bunks in the hall. Kitchen was well equipped loved having the Keyrig and the dishwasher. The washer and dryer in the hall was a bonus. The stairs wore us out but worth it for the view. Excellent location.

Condo had everything we needed! Not luxury like the large houses but this condo was totally comfy cute beachy cottage with an awesome view. Bed was comfortable but squeaky every time you turn around or get out of bed. Kitchen was well stocked. So well equipped that there wasn’t much room for food though. Loved having a small washer/dryer in the condo and extra sunroom. Most of other condos didn’t have this feature and location. We are in our mid 60s and it was hard getting suitcases and groceries up to 3rd floor. Elevator would be nice. Thanks to owners for sharing their home.

My husband and I were very comfortable during our stay. It was quiet and the view was perfect. Great location within walking distance to everything we needed. The beds and living space were cozy and comfortable. With Covid we brought all our own kitchen stuff for the most part. But this kitchen was stocked with everything!

Nice comfortable apartment. The main complaint is you can hear people walking in the other units and we were on the top floor. Kitchen had no complaints. Full-size bed in the bedroom has a dip in the middle. Bottom bunk was solid futon was good when laid flat. Smart TV would’ve been great so we can use our streaming services.

Kitchen had everything needed. Bed was comfy. The sofa was a bit hard to sit on as the cushions were always moving. The new chairs in living room and balcony were nice. We stayed here in October 2020. The view cannot be beat - worth the 4 flights of stairs hauling all of our stuff up. That would be the only thing to add. A dumb waiter or outdoor elevator - something on the end of each unit to haul our things. We are in pretty good shape and cannot imagine trying to do it if we were older heavier or had health issues.
