Dare County invites you to the Dare A250 Life, Liberty and Liftoff Faire on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 11am to 7pm in Downtown Manteo. This free, full-day patriotic festival will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence through the theme “Liberty, Legacy, and Liftoff in the Land of Beginnings.” This milestone celebration will honor the history, innovation, and spirit of our county and the Outer Banks through a day of music, food, drink, vendors, performances, and patriotic community spirit.
Events will take place in Downtown Manteo from 11am to 4pm and at Roanoke Island Festival Park from 3:30pm to 7pm. Tickets are free, but registration is required. Registration will open on March 9, 2026.
