The Outer Banks Visitors Bureau has provided a printable list of all beach and sound accesses complete with the amenities available at each location. (View and Print here) Amenities include but are not limited to: an on duty lifeguard, shower, bath house, wooden walkway, handicap/general parking, picnic area, and public boat ramps.

Duck: 10:00am - 6:00pm
Southern Shores: 10:00am - 6:00pm
Kitty Hawk: 10:00am - 7:00pm
Kill Devil Hills: 10:00am - 5:30pm
Nags Head: 10:00am - 6:00pm
Rules and Regulations for Pets on the Beach
Duck: dogs allowed year-around unleashed under the watch of their owner. See more here: townofduck.com
Southern Shores: no dogs allowed on the beach from 9:00am - 6:00pm from May 15th to September 15th, must wear leash no longer than 10 feet. See more here: southernshores-nc.gov
Kitty Hawk: dogs allowed 10:00am - 6:00pm, must wear leash no longer than 12 feet. See more here: townofkittyhawk.org
Kill Devil Hills: no dogs are allowed on the beach from 10:00am - 6:00pm from May 15th to September 15th, must wear leash no longer than 12 feet. See more here: kdhnc.com
