Head over to Jockey’s Ridge State Park and Kitty Hawk Kites in Nags Head for the annual “Fly Into Spring and Easter EGGstravaganza” event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 6th and 7th. The largest Easter egg hunt on the Outer Banks of North Carolina will be held Saturday, April 7 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with over 2,000 eggs. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for pictures during the Easter egg hunt, so don't forget your cameras!


The annual kite festival is free and open to the public. On Friday and Saturday, spectators will enjoy seeing kites of all shapes and sizes including kites over 50 feet in length take to the skies.
