Basic Storm Prep:
- Two trips to your home: pre-storm and post-storm.
- Prior to the storm, all exterior furniture, portable grills and trash cans will be secured.
- After the storm has passed, our professionals will reopen your home and check for damages.
- Pricing is based on the size of your home. Prices start as low as $45 for an average vacation home.
Additional Storm Prep Services:
- Closing of storm shutters.
- Boarding windows - Owners must provide Sun with pre-cut boards (usually standard sheets of plywood). Sun will focus primary attention on east-facing windows.
- Any additional needs unique to your home.
- Pricing varies depending on the size and needs of your property. Please contact Sun for a quote.
In the event of a storm, Sun Services' professionals will begin securing vacation homes on the Storm Preparation list. We will make an effort to handle last-minute requests once all properties on the list have been secured. Please note that the safety of Sun employees is our top priority. We will carry out storm preparation as long as the well-being of our staff can be ensured (time and weather permitting). If your home is unoccupied prior to the approaching storm, services can be performed immediately. If your property is occupied, Sun must wait for the guests to depart or for a mandatory evacuation to be issued before beginning storm preparations.
