Hatteras Island is now fully accessible, just in time for holiday vacationers! Paving of the final section of NC Hwy 12 that was damaged by Hurricane Sandy has been completed. The road reopened to all traffic around 7:00 pm last night (Wednesday, December 19).
The Food Network has recently announced the airing of four more shows featuring local Outer Banks eateries!
The Weeping Radish Brewery, The Brine & Bottle, Ortegaz Grill and Wine Bar and also Coastal Cravings will make their Food Network debuts in the coming months. All shows were filmed during a 2012 summer visit by Guy Fieri and the Food Network Crew.

Sun Realty celebrated the holidays with an annual party recently at Captain George’s Seafood Restaurant in Kill Devil Hills. The company employs over 150 people from Corolla to Hatteras Island . Several outstanding performance awards were given to those most deserving, whose dedication and hard work make Sun Realty shine as the leader on the Outer Banks.
