Outer Banks Restaurant Week kicked off on Saturday, May 14 with the "Colington Crab Classic and Soft Shell Showdown". Judges tasted their way through soft shell delicacies and picked a winner between Team Outer Banks and Team Hampton Roads.Did you miss last weekend's events? Don't worry there's still plenty to do! And all week long participating Outer Banks eateries are offering a $20 or a $35 menu or both! Just ask for the Outer Banks Restaurant Week menu.

Friday, May 20th 5 -10 p.m.
Saturday, May 21st 5 - 10 p.m.
Check out The Full Moon Grille’s newly opened Brewery and be one of the first to enjoy one of their delicous new brews, served with their absolutely, deliciously baked crab dip!
Next stroll on over to Ortega’z Southwestern Grill & Wine Bar and sample their culinary twist on the seasonal favorite - Tempora Fried Soft Shell Crab, stuffed with jalapeno’s and bleu cheese, served with Creme de Lyss Chardonnay.
Finally, wander over to the historic landmark, 1587 Restaurant and set your eyes on their breathtaking view of the Roanoke Sound while enjoying their Chef’s Choice of crab dish.

Next you will make your way to Argyle's Restaurant & Piano Bar. Another locals must do!

Sweet Thai Chili Crab Rangoon nestled atop a bed of seaweed salad with a garlic infused Ponzu Sauce, paried with a California Chenin Blanc.
Savory Crab Remick layered with a Paprika dusted mozzarella cheese and served with crispy pita point, paired with a South African Pino Tage
Crab Risotto: Lump crab lightly sauteed and served in a pool of Saffron broth with shimp and Asparagus spear, paired with a Spanish Quater Carbernet
Then travel on to to The Pearl, the only oceanfront dinning spot on the beach!
Here you will enjoy Crab Bisque, Crab Gallete with Leek and Potato, and Grapefruit & Candied Violet Sorbet. All served with a glass of wine.
