Watersports enthusiasts will appreciate the close proximity to REAL Watersports, which is just half a mile away on the soundside. For those that want a more laid back pace, have a seat at Waterman's Bar & Grill for a meal and drinks and watch the kiteboarders ride into the summer sunset.

Overall

Location and comfort were great. Would like to stay again. All bedding and living space was comfortable and suitable. Kitchen was adequate for our needs (only two people). Additional cookware and a fully functioning stove would have been beneficial had we brought a larger group.

We really liked the house. The view of the ocean was wonderful for a house that is not ocean front. The upper deck has very nice chairs and is the perfect spot to watch a sunrise. New mattresses for twin beds and lower bunk would be great. The sofa is very comfortable. Each bedroom had extra supplies that a guest might need. We could tell that the owners have thought of everything.

Overall

Loved having corn hole. The showers were awesome. Sofa was new and very comfortable. Well equipped-refrigerator worked very well. Could use some spider spray.

Loved the deck and being able to watch the sunrise and hear the ocean whole drinking my morning coffee. Great space and layout for our family. Lots of room and a good location. But it is in need of better oversight. The kitchen is lacking items that make it convenient to cook for a family. And there were some minor repair/upkeep issues that have been overlooked (loose towel bar in master bath filthy air return filters door mats becoming detached from decking.) A little more attention to detail would take this house from good to great!

The location of the house is great! Love all the decks. Sofas are quite worn. Not much support so you sink down into it making it difficult to get up and off the seat. Because of my husband's chronic health issues we would not rent the house again or any other house in OBX for that matter. We tried but it just wasn't a good idea. I would also give a head's up to all future renters be prepared to climb a lot of stairs. Fortunately we were all able to climb them multiple times a day. Made it easier to justify dessert! :-)

I would recommend this house. Needs a little TLC with the doors but everything else was fine.

Overall

The house was very clean and had an awesome layout! We thoroughly enjoyed the top deck and the very nice deck furniture. We enjoyed our coffee in the mornings listening too and watching the ocean. Walking out of the driveway the beach access was less than 20 steps away. We would definitely rent this place again!
