House was right next to extremely busy road. Road traffic could be heard by the pool and inside the house as well.

The house was great! The fenced in yard was a huge plus with our dogs. Kitchen was a little tight but had everything we needed. All the beds were great as well as the furniture.

Great location, nice house, nice pool and hot tub, lovely fenced in yard. The kitchen was very well equipped. I had everything I needed and more! Bedding and living space was very comfortable. I will definitely be renting this house again!

The pool was a plus for sure. Kitchen was nice. One of the beds was hard but the rest were fine. Recommend better TV’s.

Had everything we need. The house was super cute and we LOVED the fenced yard for the pups. The washer didn't work, there were dirty coffee grounds left in the pot, and dog hair was very evident in the home when we arrived. But we still enjoyed the stay very much! The extra bedroom should be fully explained that it is OUTSIDE of the house. Our little ones couldn't stay in it alone so we put an air bed down for them. Sofa could stand to be updated but the king bed was so comfy!!

Waves in my opinion is the best town in the OBX. It's got great beaches and views and is very pet friendly. There are plenty of secluded beaches in nearby Pea Island or Hatteras National Seashore to explore. And you're far away from the strip-mall experience of Nag's Head or Kill Devil Hills. What more can you ask for? We have rented with Sun Realty for the past 3 years but this was our first time at this property. It was a great experience. The house and pool were very well maintained and everything worked perfectly. I liked the floor plan with ground floor entry and 2-3 bedrooms downstairs but with the master bedroom, living room, kitchen, laundry room and dining area on the top floor. Our dog really enjoyed the fenced yard. We watched many sunsets over the sound from the front balcony--great scenery. And we especially loved the pool which came in handy during the days when the surf got too rough (which happened a lot thanks to Irma, Jose, and Maria). It even had a Keurig-capable coffee machine which made it easy to get my daily caffeine fix. One small word of advice: If you plan on watching much TV I would suggest bringing along a blu-ray player and/or Roku device so you can watch something besides Mash or Seinfeld reruns on the basic cable channels that are available. (Technically there are two DVD players in the house, but they're both integrated into tiny TVs in two of the bedrooms downstairs. The living room TV just has the cable box. The listing when we rented initially said there was also a Blu-ray player--and I even had a screenshot of that listing on my phone--but apparently this must have changed right before we arrived.) But hey, you don't come to the Outer Banks to watch TV, do you? We had a great time, the house was in wonderful condition, their maintenance folks were very friendly and we enjoyed every minute of our time there. I'd highly recommend this place, and we have always had great experiences dealing with Sun Realty.

Sounds Good is a well maintained home in a great location. Everything is in perfect working order including the pool and hot tub. The fenced-in yard was so nice for our dog to enjoy. The only thing we would have appreciated would have been instructions on how to use Netflix as mentioned in the home description.

Best Vacation Rental I have had in a long time. Soon after I arrived, the actual property owner ( Not the Relator ) called to see if I was satisfied with the property. He also asked if there was anything further he could do. It was obvious that the owner put a lot of time and work in on the place. The building , furnishings, appliances, and pool area where of high quality. Each morning I got up, relaxed in the Hot tub and then did laps in the pool. The deck was great. The property is a block off the sound, so the owner built the deck on the 2nd floor and purchased deck chairs that would raise the person up so as not to miss the beautiful views of the sound, sunrises and sun sets. The laundry facilities were great and convenient. Each bedroom and den had a TV. the den had a sound system as well. This place made my vacation fantastic. If you are looking for a place which is NOT near all the crowds and tourist traps of Duck and Corrolla, yet has great nightlife, great beaches, fishing boating and when you are done come home to a quiet private pool and Hot tub. than this is for you. A side note. one point of interest is the 4th bedroom. It has it's own private entrance.....I will be renting this place again next year. They had to drag me kicking and screaming away when it was time to leave Ha Ha . Thanks to the Owner of this property and the why it was kept, we had a magnificent vacation. Well worth the money. I WILL BE RENTING THIS PLACE AGAIN. 5 stars out of 5
