The location is perfect for checking out Hatteras Island, Roanoke Island, and many local restaurants that serve up locally caught seafood in the town of Nags Head.
This home is perfect for a family vacation, but please know that because of its great location, exterior stairs to access this property are steep.

almost surreal
This house was something else. If you want beachfront, you can’t get any closer!! The experience was almost surreal!!

a great visit
This house has a great location. My husband, son and son in law fished the entire time and surf fishing was great. Love the location. Overall a great visit. The beach is at your feet. The kitchen was well equipped. All new appliances. The location of the home is spectacular, but the access to the home is difficult when carrying luggage, equipment, etc. Also parking is limited when you have 3 vehicles.

The house and location are great. What an experience especially when the wind blows and the house sways. That was a new experience. Loved it.

So much fun!
We loved staying here! If you want oceanfront, there is no better property. It was the perfect size for our family of 6. We'll kept, clean, and comfy! My kids loved being so close to the water and my daughter is obsessed with the history of the house/street. We highly recommend this home!

Amazing!
Beds all so comfy! Couches all so clean and comfortable too! Spare room upstairs perfect for the kids. Bedrooms nice size and all had own TVs. Stairs not as steep as look in pictures, loved how high the house was. Beautiful views! Dolphins and bird watching was daily event on the deck. Absolutely loved this house!

pack light
The kitchen was spacious but does not have the little things needed for cooking. Need more kitchen gadets like measuring cups and spoons, etc. Beds were ok. A little hard. I recommend packing light. Many steps and a walk from car to house.

great experience
It was a great experience staying right on the beach. We had a great time. The hoses at both steps helped a lot. The small pathway from where you park to the home really needs a good clean out. Walking through the grass and briars is not pleasant If the path was just sand it would be a lot easier! Maybe someone could just cut it back a little bit. It would make a big difference. The kitchen was pretty well stocked. Needed a cutting board. Some of the pans were pretty worn but we were able to cook everything we wanted. Loved the big dining room table. Beds and sofa’s were very comfy. If you want as close to the water as possibly then this is it! You can feel the house move some especially when you lay down in bed! We really had a great week and liked the home.

Great house. Would definitely love to stay here again. The kitchen had everything we needed. All beds were comfortable. The parking situation could be better but it was worth it. The home had everything we needed.

greatly enjoyed
This house has a great location! Barefoot is an appropriate name! The kitchen was sufficiently equipped. The sofas were comfortable but the beds were VERY hard. The upstairs bath could be updated along with working TV's but overall we greatly enjoyed our stay!
