As close to the water as you can get, Barefoot is definitely for the beach lover! Enjoy all that South Nags Head has to offer while vacationing in Barefoot. This charming traditional home sits on the beach at milepost 20.75, and features a large wrap-around deck to maximize ocean views and your OBX vacation! The location is perfect for checking out Hatteras Island, Roanoke Island, and many restaurants that serve up locally caught seafood in the town of Nags Head.

This home is perfect for a family vacation, but please know that because of its great location, exterior stairs to access this property are steep.

Should you have any questions regarding the stairs or the parking spaces, please feel free to contact a Sun Realty rental agent directly, as these features may be problematic for those with mobility issues.

Feel free to bring your furry friends with you, as Barefoot is now pet-friendly!

Due to the location of Barefoot, there is no grill available for guest use.

Parking for Barefoot is at Sun Realty property OCS-17. Please see photos or call the office for details.

Sheets and towels are not provided but can be added to any reservation.

Ground Level: Parking for two vehicles 100 feet from home, exterior staircase.

Mid Level: Open kitchen, dining, and living area with TV and sliding doors to oceanfront deck, laundry area, queen bedroom with a TV, queen bedroom with a TV and access to shared hall bath (tub/shower combination).

Top Level: Queen bedroom with TV and private balcony, queen bedroom with TV, hall bath (stall shower), bonus room with 2 twin beds.

Great Location! Right up close to the ocean, it seemed like the beach was yours! Good kitchen, and clean. Bedding and living areas were comfy.

The ocean is so close that I saw dolphins from my bed! The property is a good distance from the parking, but a big wagon is provided. The kitchen had what we needed and the pots/pans/utensils were in pretty good shape. The bed we slept in was very comfy and so were the couches! Note, the first floor is also two stories up so may not a good spot for anyone with mobility issues.

You can't get more beach front right at the water than this place! The home is great, second time there and rebooked again for next year! Everything was comfy and clean. Kitchen had everything you need.

Great house, clean and well-kept. Has all the essentials. All beds and sofas were comfy and kitchen had all we needed. Incredible view and uncrowded beach were worth it, but the remote parking made packing and unpacking a challenge! Thank you for the cart owners provided - it helped tremendously.

This house has a great location. My husband son and son in law fished the entire time and surf fishing was great. Love the location. Overall a great visit. The beach is at your feet. The kitchen was well equipped. All new appliances. The location of the home is spectacular but the access to the home is difficult when carrying luggage equipment etc. Also parking is limited when you have 3 vehicles.

We loved staying here! If you want oceanfront there is no better property. It was the perfect size for our family of 6. We'll kept clean and comfy! My kids loved being so close to the water and my daughter is obsessed with the history of the house/street. We highly recommend this home!

Beds all so comfy! Couches all so clean and comfortable too! Spare room upstairs perfect for the kids. Bedrooms nice size and all had own TVs. Stairs not as steep as look in pictures loved how high the house was. Beautiful views! Dolphins and bird watching was daily event on the deck. Absolutely loved this house!

It was a great experience staying right on the beach. We had a great time. The hoses at both steps helped a lot. The small pathway from where you park to the home really needs a good clean out. Maybe someone could just cut it back a little bit. It would make a big difference. The kitchen was pretty well stocked. Needed a cutting board. Some of the pans were pretty worn but we were able to cook everything we wanted. Loved the big dining room table. Beds and sofa’s were very comfy. If you want as close to the water as possibly then this is it! You can feel the house move some especially when you lay down in bed! We really had a great week and liked the home.

Great house. Would definitely love to stay here again. The kitchen had everything we needed. All beds were comfortable. The parking situation could be better but it was worth it. The home had everything we needed.

This house has a great location! Barefoot is an appropriate name! The kitchen was sufficiently equipped. The sofas were comfortable but the beds were VERY hard. The upstairs bath could be updated along with working TV's but overall we greatly enjoyed our stay!
