beautiful & very cozy
The house is beautiful and very cozy. The kitchen is fantastic. The pool table is an excellent amenity. Close to the beach while also being near to needed shops - the Publix is right across the street, and the Food Lion right nearby, as well. Though it IS right on the main road, we were not disturbed by any road noise.

comfortable
The kitchen was equipped better than most rental properties in our experience. Beds were OK but firmer than expected. Furniture was very comfortable. The road noise was excessive outside the house. We have never stayed that close to Rt. 158. Did not realize it would be so noisy.

we enjoyed ourselves
Traffic noise was a little annoying, but we enjoyed ourselves. The kitchen was great. Living areas were great. The beds were not very comfortable.

everything was great
Everything was great! The kitchen had everything we needed. The furniture was very comfortable. The only minor issue was road noise when trying to sleep, but it wasn’t anything too bad.

This was a great house! Everything was in the kitchen that we needed. All beds and sofa were very comfortable. Everything was great! Highly recommend getting a broom or vacuum for the next future guests!

lots of room
The house was great in most aspects. Lots of room, private pool was clean, kitchen was very nicely equipped. The two biggest problems I had with the house was it’s right on the main road and you can hear every car and truck all night on the busy street. Second in the master bedroom the king size bed is too large for the room. Only about 6 inches between the bed and the wall and with a dresser in the bottom corner the only way to exit that side of the bed is through the bottom of the bed.

The house itself was lovely as was the private pool, which we enjoyed immensely. House is spacious and well maintained (as is the pool), but is more suitable for groups with children who can occupy the bunk bed room; our group was all older adults so the sleeping arrangements were not the best for all of us.
There is a new Publix market right across the street which was extremely convenient.
Our biggest issue was the noise as the house sits right on the main highway. Pictures on the website do not clearly show this. Location might be ok for city folks; we found we could not open the windows to allow fresh air and still hear the tv and have conversation.
We had a wonderful time, though. As we always do on the OBX. And we have learned over the years that Sun Realty is and continues to be the best!
