Longer Days is a cozy and well maintained one level beach cottage situated close to beach access as well as restaurants and shopping. The well-equipped kitchen has a large table for dining or you may sit at the breakfast bar. The living area has a Flat Screen TV with cable and a DVD player and offers a choice of entertainment options, with DVDs. The king en suite with private bath has a comfy memory foam mattress and a Flat Screen TV, the Queen bedroom also has a memory foam mattress and there is a bedroom with a double and single bed and a DVD. Relax in the evening on the enclosed/screened porch. Guests will enjoy use of an Olympic-sized community pool and tennis courts at the Kinnakeet Shores facility located behind our Avon office. The walk over to the beach is a short distance away where you can enjoy the waves, fishing, views of the Avon Pier, and nighttime star gazing.

Enjoy limited horizon ocean views and lovely sunsets in the evening from the crow's nest and best of all, Longer Days is pet friendly! We aim to please with comfort and close proximity to beach, restaurants, coffee and ice cream. Great street for the kids to ride their bicycles or for walking the family dog. Located in Avon on the one and only amazing Hatteras Island!

The ground level has an outside shower, picnic table area, a fish cleaning station, and a charcoal park grill. Parking is for two cars under the house with additional parking in the driveway.
