Linens Manager | Sun Realty Harbinger Office

We are currently seeking a responsible, highly motivated individual for our Linens Manager. If you have management and leadership experience; have the ability to work harmoniously with management, staff, clients, and customers; possess a working knowledge of all aspects of linen services; have the ability to react quickly to the changing demands of a multi-departmental company and meet deadlines; can demonstrate your ability to organize, prioritize, manage conflict resolution; and communicate effectively in English both written and verbal, you may be the right person for the position.

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years management/industry experience preferably/guest services
  • Inventory management; status and financial reporting
  • Computer literate
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record
  • Reliable transportation and an active NC Driver License
  • Property Plus / Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) / LSI / Status Tracker experience.

5 Days per Week (Tuesday through Saturday), Full-Time, Year-Round 8:30 am - 5:30 pm

Job Requirements:

  • 1+ years administrative support experience in a customer-driven, high pressure, deadline-oriented environment (real estate sales, vacation rental, hospitality or other service industry)
  • Excel in PC skills; including MS Office. Professional interface with sales administrative manager, office and department managers, clients, customers, vendors, and team members; in-person, by phone and through correspondence.
  • Ambassador for the company; self-starter who is effective with minimal direction, proven clear thinker, a quick study, well-organized, and solution oriented.
  • Capable of maintaining sensitive and confidential information.
  • Not physical labor but must be able to lift 25 pounds for paper storage.

Seasonal Filter Technician

This position is full time (40 hours per week), Seasonal beginning April 1, 2015 for approximately 6 months. 

Job Requirements:

  • Must have reliable, insured transportation, a clean driving record and active NC Driver License.  
  • Drive, climb steps/ladders, work in tight spaces, read, write, communicate effectively in English, sit, stand, stoop bend, kneel, hear, and work with electronic devices.
  • Able to tolerate various and extreme weather conditions.

Primary duties will include changing Air Conditioner filters in our Vacation Rental homes.

2015 Seasonal Housekeeping Staff | All Sun Realty Locations

Sun Realty is currently hiring 2015 seasonal housekeeping staff for the following locations: Carova and Corolla, Duck, Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, Salvo and Avon. Please know that our Carova and Corolla cleaners need to have their own four-wheel-drive vehicle.

Salvo Seasonal Inspector / Office Assistant | Sun Realty Salvo Office

Summary: Prep assigned rental units for housekeepers, inspect cleaned units for cleanliness, report and document damage and inventory items for occupancy, assist in the housekeeping office as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Must have a good attitude, the ability to work well with others and have high personal integrity. Reliability and confidentiality are also essential. Able to make decisions when circumstances arise that require action and must have the initiative to confront housekeepers and explain that a problem needs to be resolved.  Must have the ability to read and follow written and verbal direction, given in the English language, along with legible writing skills.

Physical/Mental Demands: Hearing, speaking, seeing, walking, stooping, reaching, climbing steps, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.  
Machines/Equipment: A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation with proper insurance, licenses, and inspections; and knowledge of the operation of basic cleaning equipment, pager and telephone.
Work Environment: Exposed to outside weather conditions; operating a vehicle in congested traffic situations; using chemicals and cleaning products.
Work Schedule: Weekends, plus assisting in the office a couple of days during the week.
Wages:  Competitive, hourly.

Hours: 5 days (including weekend), full time and year-round from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
