Salvo Seasonal Inspector / Office Assistant | Sun Realty Salvo Office

Summary: Prep assigned rental units for housekeepers, inspect cleaned units for cleanliness, report and document damage and inventory items for occupancy, assist in the housekeeping office as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Must have a good attitude, the ability to work well with others and have high personal integrity. Reliability and confidentiality are also essential. Able to make decisions when circumstances arise that require action and must have the initiative to confront housekeepers and explain that a problem needs to be resolved.  Must have the ability to read and follow written and verbal direction, given in the English language, along with legible writing skills.

Physical/Mental Demands: Hearing, speaking, seeing, walking, stooping, reaching, climbing steps, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.  
Machines/Equipment: A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation with proper insurance, licenses, and inspections; and knowledge of the operation of basic cleaning equipment, pager and telephone.
Work Environment: Exposed to outside weather conditions; operating a vehicle in congested traffic situations; using chemicals and cleaning products.
Work Schedule: Weekends, plus assisting in the office a couple of days during the week.
Wages: Competitive, hourly.

Corolla Housekeeping Manager Assistant | Sun Realty Corolla Office

Full-time, year-round position available in Sun Realty's Corolla office. 5 days/week (including weekends), 8:30-5:30.

Job Requirements:

  • Management experience in housekeeping, or comparable customer driven, high pressure, deadline oriented environment.
  • Have the ability to diffuse and resolve stressful situations
  • Active Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Excel in PC skills; (experience with Property Plus, local social, LSI software, a plus).
  • Professional interface with office and department managers, clients, customers, vendors, and team members; in-person, by phone and through correspondence.
  • Ambassador for the company; self-starter who is effective with minimal direction, proven clear thinker, a quick study, well organized, and solution oriented.
  • Capable of maintaining sensitive and confidential information.
  • Must be able to work in extreme weather, lift 25+ pounds, drive, walk, climb stairs, bend, reach, stoop and stand.

Maintenance Manager - Sun Professional Services South | Sun Realty Southern Offices

The Maintenance Manager for Sun Realty’s southern territories oversees operations and supervises maintenance technicians who cover Kill Devil Hills, Nags Head, South Nags Head and all of Hatteras Island. This Manager will work with and support the efforts of their northern counterpart and serve as backup to that position as needed. This is a full-time, year-round position. 40 hours per week, including weekends and some after-hours calls.

  • Computer skills including but not limited to MS Office suite
  • General maintenance and light carpentry

Linen Associates Hours - two shifts, 5 days/week 5:00a.m. to 1:30p.m. or 1:30p.m. to 10:00p.m.
Linen Drivers and Driver Helpers Hours - 5 days/week, 40 hours.

Job Requirements:

  • Local resident
  • Experience in high pressure, deadline oriented environment
  • Work in close proximity with team members.
  • Self-starter who is effective with minimal direction.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
  • Capable of tolerating varying weather extremes (heat and cold) and long periods of standing.
  • Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds.
  • Drivers: Valid active NC DL (5yrs) and clean record

Assistant General Manager - Sun Professional Services | Sun Realty Harbinger Office

Sun Realty, an Outer Banks property management company, is seeking an experienced professional to assist with the oversight of our home services operations. As Assistant General Manager, you will assist in oversight of day to day operations of home services for Sun Realty’s vacation rental homes.  Experience in supervision or management of maintenance operations for vacation rentals is preferred but not required.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong written, verbal communication skills
  • Dependable, ability to work under pressure

  • Property Plus knowledge not required but preferred
