We had a wonderful vacation in this house. The views are spectacular - the photos do not do them justice. We also loved the elevator; it made loading and unloading, grocery shopping, etc so much easier. I was surprised that there weren't some amenities that I would think would be included in a "higher end" rental, such as coffee filters, scrub brush for dishes, and a bigger TV in the living room. There are also no window treatments in the main room, so while the sun is setting there is quite a glare. We definitely would stay here again.

Best vacation of my life!
Blue Horizon was amazing and offered us the things needed to entertain everyone in our family from the fishing enthaustist to the lay back person. Our family had a blast and there was plenty of amenities for everyone to enjoy. We had a great time at this house and all the memories made; it was close to the inlet for daily deep sea fishing and dolphin watching (Mahi Mahi & Tuna is great in this area), soothing hot tub, great built in seating in the pool to relax and even a pier for catching crabs and fish. The vacation ended with a beautiful rainbow across the sound that ended up as a perfect picture to my screen saver. Wish every vacation was like this :) Already planning 2013....see you later OBX!!!!

What a great vacation!! This home was a great place to stay. Access to the sound and the pool and hot tub were wonderful. Minor issues with the elevator but the problems were addressed promptly.. Could not have included our father without the elevator so that too was a blessing. If you're looking for a wonderful sound side rental, this is the place to have. Thanks for sharing your home!!

We had a great vacation at this home there were 18 people in our party. The elevator was a life saver, the screen porch was the most used room in the house. Great pool area and good size. The sound pier was great with awesome view, the fishing is not very good due to the shallow water but we did get a few crab and went kayaking. We all agree we will return for more great times!
