This our eighth year at the McDaniel home. It was a very rainey stay this year but not enough to dampen our spirits even with the road flooded all week. The new furniture was much appreciated and comfortable.

Life's A Beach
An excellent choice for our first "family week" at the beach. We will do it again and hopefully at the McDaniel's. The cottage met all our needs. The third level deck is where we spent much of our relaxing time. It was a safe spot for the kids and dogs to play and the view/breeze was wonderful. Terrific place to stay.

This will be our third year
This will be our third year in the McDaniel home. Over our 27 years of marriage we have been to the outbanks 28 times. Our children have always loved our time together while at the beach and look forward to it each year. Because oceanfront in-season has become past our budget...we have found the next best thing. Quick access to the beach, available swimming pool, and hot tub on the deck. The owners thoughtfully provide the paper and have net access to check on things at home. We truly appreciate the little things they do...you'll have to stay to find out. We have very good memories of our past two years and hopefully many more to come.
