Pictures of the house may have been taken a good while ago as they are misleading. . A blue ink stain and a large grayish stain on the pink carpet in the master suite were immediately obvious. Then we noticed fallen ceiling plaster in the corner or the master bedroom was still laying on the floor in the corner where it had fallen from the ceiling. The plaster holes were still on the ceiling.
Water stains were obvious in the main bathroom and 2nd floor bathroom ceilings.
Every bedroom had noticeable stains in the carpets, including the living room. The 2nd floor king bedroom's windows would open but immediately close as the weights are broken and won't let it stay open.
The TV and corresponding audio receiver and speakers were a rats nest of cables. I wanted so badly to rewire everything and hide the cables. I work in TV and things like this drive me nuts. We found a half empty bottle of water in back of the TV. Sorry, I'm no one's maid. It stayed there in place. The remote that controlled the audio receiver was missing AA batteries. Had to buy them for the remote.
The sliding glass door was missing privacy blinds on the left hand side of door that lets out onto the back deck. There were drill holes that indicate that there used to be ones there. I don't know why they weren't replaced. Privacy would have been nice because I did catch our neighbors looking into our house from our deck.
Also, the screen door leading to the back deck was ripped and useless. It needed repaired. Again, I don't understand how this wasn't noticed or how long it has been in disrepair but it should have been fixed..
The game room floor mysteriously developed a good sized puddle of water twice in three days. Can't explain that.. no obvious leaks were found or noticed..
I paid $1655 for a week of this. I feel that it wasn't worth $1000 for the condition it was in. Major disappointment.
