Five families returned today from a 7 day vacation at Montana Mermaid and we all absolutely loved it!!!! Being the neat freaks that we are, we found the house in top notch shape. The kitchen was loaded with everything you could think of....more glasses, knives, forks and plates than you can imagine. The location was great....secluded from other houses, but close to shopping, activities etc. And most importantly, the beach! A short trip away....and a gorgeous beach!
The only minor complaint we had was a larger refrigerator would be nice in the kitchen and the mosquitoes were bad...many of us returned with itchy legs!!
Overall, we had a great week and I would highly recommend this house to anyone!!!!

This house had everything we could possibly want or need. My elderly parents were with us, and the elevator was a must. The pool was a nice size and everything was very clean. We were very happy with our stay. The location was perfect because it was rather private but located close to everything we needed. The beach access was right across the street, and the brand new Jeanette's pier was a stone's throw away. There were 10 adults and 5 childre, but the house was spacious and provided everyone with some sort of privacy.
We will defitnitely choose this house again as our Outerbanks getaway
My only complaint was that it would have been nice to have some sort of ramp access to the houlse. My parents had a tough time navigating the stairs to get to the pool area. Otherwise, it was great.
