Oinkers Away is a spacious, well-equipped and beautifully furnished vacation home in Nags Head. Your family and friends will be vacationing in style at this oceanside oasis. Stay cool and have fun in the private 12'x29' pool. The hot tub on the mid level covered deck is a perfect spot to relax at the end of the day.

A recreation room with kitchenette on the ground level offers extra space for your group to enjoy. The sun decks and open floor plan on the top level provide enough space for everyone to enjoy meals and entertainment together. Walk or ride a bike to the nearby restaurants and shops of Gallery Row. The beach access is only 100 feet away, crossing Rt. 12 (the beach road). With the beach so close, you can get your toes in the sand whenever you want. Make your morning coffee before walking over to watch a beautiful Outer Banks sunrise.

Located near Sea Breeze 405 which is perfect for large family gatherings.

Sheets and towels are provided year-round for full-week reservations only.

The pool opens 2nd week of May through the 2nd week in October. The hot tub is open year-round!

Layout:
Ground Level: Rec room with living area, TV, pool table, kitchenette and washer/dryer. Pyramid bunk bedroom, Jack and Jill bath, bedroom with a queen and a twin bed, half bath.

Mid Level: Queen en suite with private bath, 2 king en suites with private baths, queen bedroom, full bath.

Top Level: Large kitchen, large sitting area, half bath, great room with table for playing cards or puzzles and decks on both sides.

Love the house. Prob the best we stayed at so far with the exception of the king bed mattresses. Close to beach access shopping. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of dining space.

We love this house and plan to be back next year! The kitchen had what we needed to prepare a homestyle Thanksgiving meal. We do bring some special items from home but not as much this year as in the past!

I would definitely recommend the house but unfortunately it did not accommodate our personal needs as well as we had hoped. Missed having a bedroom on the top level. The close proximity to the public beach access was nice. Pool area is awesome! The kitchen is spacious and very well equipped. It was supplied with everything we needed. Beds and sofas are all super comfy! WiFi service was very spotty and not all guests were able to connect.

Perfect location. All amenities/furniture were in excellent working order. The beds were so comfortable. The kitchen was very very well equipped - had 5 coffee machines - lol. This home was well stocked.

Our 3rd time staying here location is perfect for beach access/walkability to amenities. Kitchen has great amenities here just need a pizza cutter! Bed/Mattress in left rear bedroom on second level seems dated.

This was a great house! Most of the beds and couches were very comfy with the exception of the beds on the first floor. The beds were somewhat uncomfortable but we also had adults in those beds so that might be why. The other beds were really comfortable and loved the comforters! So pretty. The layout was perfect and the kitchen was huge! Loved the first floor as well! It opened up to the pool and we used the pool table and downstairs sitting area a lot. I loved the pool.

This was a great house. Room for everyone. The kitchen was very nice it had everything we needed to cook big meals for our family. Plenty of room for everyone to sit while eating and playing games after. I had mixed reviews about the beds. My bed was very comfy. Some agreed but others said theirs was too hard.

This house easily provided space for everyone to enjoy time together as well as space for separate activities. This is a great house! There has already been talk of trying to find a week to rent it again. Having better quality mattresses would have been fabulous but for a week at the beach we managed just fine. The kitchen was well equipped. My only suggestion would be having two large trash cans one for recycling one for trash.

Overall

Almost all good. The location is literally the next best thing to oceanfront. The house is bigger than the pictures suggest. The kids LOVED the swimming pool and the parents loved the poolside bar! The game room was also a big hit. Everything was clean and mostly comfortable That brings us to a couple of criticisms. The King mattresses desperately need replaced. The rest of the house is so nicely appointed that it seems they ran out of funds when it came to the mattresses for the King beds. We could feel every spring and there were major dips. The couples in the king rooms didn't sleep well all week. But our bigger complaint comes to the maintenance depart at Sun. On Thursday of our stay we noticed the kitchen faucet was leaking uncontrollably. We shut off the water and called Sun at open on Friday morning and were told someone would be right out to fix it. When we left Sunday morning the kitchen sink still had not been repaired. We adapted but it was very disappointing that our request was ignored the rest of our stay. I am a 30-year veteran of OBX trips and I have never seen such a slow response. Overall I give the house a 4.5. The rest of the service we received from Sun throughout the process was excellent.
