Sandman 315-B

We loved this placed! already booked for next year. It is in the perfect location- good distance from beach access and therefore the beach was the least crowded in front of us. Kids enjoyed walking to the pier arcade and Johns drive in. Well equiped kitchen, window air was no problem- kept very cool inside. We enjoy that the place is smaller, we are a small family and dont spend much time inside when we are at the beach, and besides, smaller=less cleaning! It was perfect for us. Only complaint would be our bed in the back bedroom- not comfortable- could feel the springs. Hoping for a new bed next year. Otherwise- we cant wait to go back!

My son and I rented this house and fell in love with it . The house is very quaint and has a lot of charm . You can sit on the screened in porch and watch the dolphins play and feel the ocean spray . It's a great place to relax and have fun in the sand and surf . Great place to collect some awsome shells . I will be booking this house again . Best of all it's pet friendly my rescued dogs loved it !

This is a nice property but DON'T COME DURING MY WEEK, MAN! We've vacationed at OBX for 20+ years ... this is a nice beach cottage. Not fancy but what you want -- relaxing, funky, clean, and allows the 4footed family. Rob, THANK YOU. Please read and sign the guestbook! This place feels like home & family. Agree the screen door is a persistent problem. Appliances: A+. All the utensils & cooking gear you need. A+ Bath is clean & functional and THE BEDS ARE COMFY!! Not all rentals can say as much. Staff at Sun are nice to work with. A/C works fine. Beach is right at your door -- NICE! Carolina Seafood (agree with poster above) a must, as is Black Pelican (MP4.5) and Austin Fish Co. (MP12). This is near all the good stuff and a great bargain, esp. if you have canine family. If you want the Hilton look elsewhere ... but if you want a home look here! We'll book for next year no question.

July was our 5th stay at the Sandman and we will continue as long as Rob allows it. We were estactic to see some improvements(above and beyond general repairs). The 2 new windows are awesome. I would be curious to know how many times a year the screen door on back side has to be replaced:)When the description states 10 ft. from the beach it means it!!Best deal on the beach and no need to go anywhere but the grocery store. And thanks to Rob for letting us bring our dog.

WE HAVE RENTED THE SANDMAN A FEW TIMES IT IS A GREAT PLACE TO BE THE TRUE OUTER BANKS BEACH BUM WE STAYED THERE THE 2ND WEEK OF JULY THIS YEAR, BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK... ROB THANKS FOR THE NEW TV THE UPDATES IN THE COTTAGE WAS NICE,, BUT DO NOT UPDATED TO MUCH WE LOVE IT JUST THE WAY IT IS,, WE PLAN ON COMING BACK NEXT YEAR TOO.... YOU MIGHT WANT TO CLEAN OUT THE DRIVEWAY A LITTLE BIT HARD TO PARK 2 CARS , BUT OTHER THAN THAT DO NOT CHANGE A THING THANKS THE PA. HILLBILLIES
