This is a fantastic rental! It's clean, functional yet luxurious, and has the best equipped kitchen of any rental I've ever been in. They have an excellent stock of books, VHS tapes, DVDs, CDs, and games for your use. The pool is wonderful (we taught our grandkids to swim), the hot tub relaxing, and the decks and patio are equipped with everything you need to kick back and enjoy your stay. The elevator was quiet and made it possible for us to take my 92-year-old mother with us. We had 4 generations sharing the house for one of the best vacations ever.

Wonderful Family Vacation!!!!!
This house is the very nicest place I have ever stayed in OBX. The location is great, right near tons of shops (which we road bicycles to) and the golf cart makes getting to the beach so quick and easy. The pool is wonderful and since jelly fish were bad during our stay, that is where we planted ourselves for the week. The elevator was a tremendous help as my father is elderly and wheel chair bound. He was able to get around the house by himself due to the elevator and the ramps at the door ways leading outside. My family and I had the best vacation here and I would def. think of this house first when planning another OBX vacation!!!

This place was amazing! Best rental kitchen I've ever seen. We didn't need to bring/buy anything. House was comfortable, pool was wonderful, hot tub was amazing .... We had the best family vacation ever! Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful house with us!!!

This beach house is amazing! We have been vacationing in Duck for over 15 years and we have never returned to the same rental. The exception will be Pelican's View. We will be renting again, next season. We love the views and the privacy surrounding the house which is now very hard to find in Duck. For example, you can swim in the pool without "neighbors" watching! The interior is immaculate and well provisioned for every need. The furnishings are tasteful, contemporary and comfortable! All the beds have firm mattresses which we consider a priority. Quite frankly, the pictures do not reflect spaciousness or comfort of this rental. We enjoyed being able to walk in to town and also to Tommy's Market for great morning pastries! And the golf cart was a first experience! No problem loading up the kids who didn't want to walk to the beach on a hot day (and parents too)! The elevator proved invaluable to my elderly parents who stayed with us. Kudos to the owners, as it is quite apparent a lot of thought and attention to detail (and a renter's needs) were put into this beach house.
