Your vacationing experience is well-planned at Salz Haus to be accommodating and welcoming to all of our guests no matter what you like best about being at the beach.
Outside the furnished decks combine both indoor and outdoor living at its best with both sun decks, covered decks, and a porch swing. The wonderful screened-in porch offers a 6-person hot tub, a picnic table that seats 8, and a ceiling fan to keep you cool on those steamy summer nights. Indoor and outdoor speakers allow you to listen to your favorite music from almost anywhere (bring your iPod or CDs). Underneath the house also provides dual outside showers for rinsing all the salt and sand off, a fish cleaning table, a second bench swing, and corral for all of your beach gear! In addition to that is the fully enclosed laundry area with a full-size washer and dryer for your vacationing convenience.
The living area of Salz Haus has just as much attention to detail. The home-chef in your family will love the kitchen. The dining room and living room open up to the loft above so there are huge vaulted ceilings and even skylights to let in the natural light during the day. The living room offers a flat-screen tv, DVD player, and free wifi for you to enjoy when you want some time out of the sun or for a relaxing evening indoors. This floor also has one of the three bedrooms. The Queen bedroom is in the northwest corner of the home and has an attached full bathroom. Upstairs is the northwest bedroom with two bunk beds and the other queen bedroom to the northeast. These bedrooms share a Jack and Jill bath between the two of them. Lastly is the top floor entrance to the upper level furnished sundecks with the best views of the area in the whole house!!
From Salz Haus it is just a short walk to the beach. Only 4 lots from the oceanfront properties and a clearly marked beach access for the community make your trips to the beach a breeze. Come and enjoy Salz Haus, your new beach vacation tradition!

amazing kitchen and bed
The master bed is the most amazing bed I have ever slept in!! The kitchen is a cooks dream! The island in the middle is amazing! he wi-fi didn’t work the first 2 days we were there nor did the cable. Plus there was no tv in the master bedroom.

great house
The kitchen was perfect! The dining table was also perfect for our family of 5 (3 kids under 6) Everything was comfortable with bedding and living area space. Overall it was a great house! Sun Realty was also wonderful to work with. Well definitely use them again!

This home had everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable my body didn’t want to move! Very good! The kitchen had what we needed. The washer and dryer are in a small room under the house, but we didn’t mind that at all.

Salz Haus
We love the outer banks and had always stayed in the Duck/Corolla area but "won" this house in a church auction. We didn't know what to expect but were so pleasantly surprised! The area was great. We found a lot of wonderful shops and great restaurants but the house was fantastic! We had three couples during our stay and the house was very comfortable. The kitchen was superbly equipped--anything you wanted or needed was there! The house is very nicely appointed and the decks were great. It was wonderful sitting on the top deck listening to and looking at the ocean! We will be back!
