In fact, the owners of Sound Decision were so enthusiastic about the idea of offering the best west coast sunset views, a unique and under-appreciated aspect of the Outer Banks, that the home has been built to the height limit allowed for a home of this kind. At the very least, the sights on the top level are on par with any other home on the sound.
Nestled back on the Avery Isle part of Kitty Hawk Bay, Sound Decision the ideal place to visit during the busy summer months but, still be afforded some reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the main strip. Boating, fishing, crabbing, or kayaking, if you can think of a watersport, Sound Decision gives you and your family the most serene, secluded and beautiful setting. There is even ladder access for ease in playing in the bay and launching your kayak. Coming soon will be a dog ramp to the water!
Expanding on the earlier mentioned beach parking, guests of Sound Decision have access to a private beach access with parking off Poseidon St in Kitty Hawk. With so much to do right at the house, you will be plenty busy but, when you get the ocean itch, not many soundfront homes provide such convenient access.

5/15 UPDATE: Owner's per requests from guests have decided to add two sets of stairs from the dock/bulkhead to the water. One will be 5-step aluminum vertical set of stairs from the dock, and the other will be a ramped 5-step set of stairs (made by Tommy Dock) that will be installed from the dock or bulkhead - which ever fits best. The ramped steps will be suitable for people as well as dogs. For Spring 2021, a fixed lower dock with a stairway will be installed.
