great location
This really is a very cute house in a great location! The beds were extremely comfortable which is a rare find in vacation homes!! I would suggest that someone periodically stop by to clean up the leaves, dead bugs etc as they were completely covering many of the great features of the house including the outside shower, screened in porch & hammock making them somewhat unusable & unappealing.

lovely home
We truly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. It was so convenient to the beach and the sound. The kitchen had everything we needed so we seldom went out to eat. The beds and sofas were very comfortable. Can’t think of anything else we would have needed.

Summer Family Vacation
We have been renting Duck'N Work for our summer family vacation the last few years. The house is the perfect choice for 1 family budget, located on a quiet and family friendly neighborhood. Everything in the house was clean, in good condition and organized. There are games and books on the closet, plus cable and Wi-Fi for additional entertainment. The kitchen was well equipped with space for 1 week groceries. The bathrooms were recently remodeled, nice and clean. We use the wagon they have in the garage to bring the boards and chairs with us to the beach, which is just a short walk from the house, with the lifeguard station at the entrance. Traffic to get to Duck on Saturdays it's really a pain, but once you get there it's worth it. We will keep booking it every summer, for as long as we can afford it.

Very Clean and Nice
My family and I enjoyed our stay here at this rental house. There is a garage with lots of beach items so check it out before bringing or buying your own. The washer and dryer are located in garage. There is only an outside entrance to it.
Everything in the house was very neat, clean and organized. I also loved the decor. The kitchen had everything I needed to prepare meals. The screened-in porch was a nice addition for meals without the bugs! The newly remodeled bathrooms were very nice. I'm thankful for the twin beds as my small children were very comfortable there together. The beds were very comfortable.
I didn't realize when we booked this house just how close we were to the ocean and sound. It was a gentle walk in both directions. There are picnic tables at the sound and the private community was like the sign said - private! It was a quiet stay and I appreciated that! To the owners - thank you for a lovely house!
The only concern I had was with the lattice railing on the outside deck. It may need to be replaced soon in some areas.

I want to keep it as my own secret getaway!
Wonderful little house by the sea! I've been coming to the OBX for 10+ years. This was my first stay with Sun Realty and in this area. I LOVED IT. The house was adorable, clean, well decorated and cared for. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need to cook at home for a week. My ONLY suggestion would be an update to the microwave--it's very old and doesn't heat things efficiently. But even that wouldn't prevent me from staying here again! The neighborhood is quiet and VERY family friendly (and a good mix of people who live here who do not rent out their homes). The beach is the perfect distance as well as the little park across the street from the neighborhood on the sound. In previous reviews it mentions updates to the bathroom--well, they're now updated. The bathrooms are new, nice and clean. We really enjoyed our time at your home. Thank you! We'll be back! The Sun Realty staff was also very accommodating and kind. No waits for our check in---SO LOVELY!
