This house was perfect! All beds and sofas were comfy! The kitchen was well equipped with what we needed. Home had everything we needed.

This was a great house and would be even better with some upgrades. Nicer kitchen pots and pans would have been nice. All beds were super comfy! We especially loved the outdoor furniture!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this home. This home has wonderful amenities! This was our 16th year of vacationing in the Outer Banks and this home was one of the nicest. The outdoor area was beautiful. The hammocks were wonderful and so was the seating area by the pool with plenty of choices for sitting and relaxing. The sail cloth provided a very comfortable area to find some shade. We only used the hot tub once (the weather was too hot), but it was lovely and the pool was enjoyed daily. We also loved seeing the horses, which were on the property often. Overall, it was just a great week and the home was wonderful!

Nice house. Great pool and loved the extended patio and furniture. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were extremely comfortable!

Dream Catcher was the perfect house for six adults, four children and two dogs. The house is spacious and tastefully decorated. The beach is a short stroll, and the views from the decks are stunning. You have everything you need at this house including a pool, hot tub, propane grill, spacious rooms and the floor plan is set up to feel like you have your own space. Love this house! We booked Dream Catcher fairly last minute (booked in May). We were surprised to see - what appeared online anyway - such a great looking home to be available. After booking the home, I had second guesses due to the lack of reviews from recent years, and then I saw one picture of the TV in the Great Room that was on old tube TV (as opposed to Flat Screen) and was wondering if I was missing something. I can assure you whole-heartedly we were not disappointed! Dream Catcher was a quaint, cozy home that was the perfect getaway for a week. Upon booking I was called immediately to be reminded of the 4x4 requirement for access to the home. While I was aware of it when looking online, the phone call helped to stress the importance of this requirement. And after a week in Carova, I can't stress enough how important that 4x4 requirement is! Didn't get stuck anywhere but would not have been able to navigate to/fro Carova. Plus, driving to the beach was an unexpected plus for me. Never did it before and now I think I will be disappointed if it doesn't happen again! The home itself was large and accommodating. We had plenty of livable space for 9. 5 adults, 4 kids. We didn't even use the one bedroom and had beds to spare. The Great Room was a perfect size for everyone. I'd encourage whoever stays up the latest in your party to take the master off the Great Room. The very nice sound system to the (FLAT SCREEN) TV may be a distraction to those getting on the top floor. The owners provided directions for all their devices and use of streaming apps, Direct TV and Blu Ray. Their information binder also provided a nice background of rules, regulations and background/history of the area. It was obvious the owners cared about making sure their guests felt at home. The pool was enjoyable and in June was fairly warm. There was a hot tub that we used sparingly but was enjoyable as well. The deck was great for the views. While some areas have been built up since in front of the home (Ocean Side) you can still see the ocean in part. The Carova area was unique in that we saw and heard a fair share of tree frogs - neat! The wild horses also ventured to the home on several occasions. It's worth noting the region does an exception job warning guests/visitors to give the horses their space and to leave them alone. In June, the beach itself was awesome. The weather for the week allowed us to venture to the beach daily for many hours. Some storms hit us toward the end of the week but typically in the evening. It made the waters rougher by Friday (and more exciting for our party's wave-jumpers!). Throughout the week, the water was at a reasonable temperature, there were zero jellyfish and occasional dolphin crossings! I'd highly recommend this home to anyone considering who wants a bit more isolated; get-away-from-it-all trip but still have a home with all the amenities. We had anywhere from 50-200 yards of beach to ourselves on any given day. You have to plan accordingly and realize that you either need to pack enough food for the week OR plan special trips into Corolla (easily 30 minute drive on the beach) throughout the week. We stopped 3-4 times, once for propane, once or twice to shop and once for a restaurant (Uncle Ike's was awesome!) As per the recommendation of the owners binder; we departed the house by 7:30 am on Saturday (we actually left at 6am) to avoid the fleeing traffic on Saturday - we got off the island without any wait and were able to air up our tires in Corolla with zero issues at Sun Realty. My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The house was awesome. My kids enjoyed the pool. We loved the location. We want to make Dream Catcher our vacation house every year!!
