Clear Day is a spacious, dog-friendly home that is located only 850 feet to direct beach access providing everything you need for your stay at the beach and wonderful memories with family.

A loft area with a sleep sofa and additional den area offers plenty of extra sleeping areas or can be used as just a quiet hideaway.

This cottage may accept mini-stays. Please call for availability.

Hot tub available in-season only.

Overall

Very easy access to the beach and all of the shops/supermarket. This is the second time that we rent this house and we like it very much. Very well equipped kitchen. Although all of the bedding are okay but it would be fantastic if the owners would replace all of the queen mattresses in the house. They are a bit flat. The little alcove on the 3rd level offers a nice refuge from all the household busy activities, the decks on the second floor offer super views of the ocean and the sound, and the hammock is the perfect place to read a book, take a nap or just simply do nothing.

The beach is a short walk away and you have pretty views of the sound and the ocean from the house. The house is very private as it is surrounded by trees and bushes. There is a lot of nature and birdsong from on the property. We had a deer, rabbits and a really cool turtle in the yard while we were there. It was our first time staying in Duck and that was so nice. Shops are close as is the bike/walking path. The neighborhood is quiet and felt safe. Well stocked kitchen with some fun beach themed glassware. Hot tub was clean, new looking and the water temp was perfect. Need better toilet paper and more towels. Dryer took a long time to dry, but basically washer and dryer were good. Decking was sturdy and clean. Had lots of fun games, puzzles and some cute toys. *Well stocked with great books!

Loved the location and floor plan. The kitchen had everything we needed. Didn’t love master bedroom mattress but it was ok. Everything else was great!

Great quiet neighborhood with just a short walk to the beach. The multilevel decks provide great views of both the ocean and the sound. Carpeting on first level looks brand new.

House was appropriately sized for our group. I loved that there was so much living space that was simultaneously connected but at the same time separated. The den/gameroom allowed some of us to work on a puzzle while another group played games but we could remain in visual contact with each other and chat.
