We decide to stay at this house after much consideration of a number of properties in Corolla and OBX. We had 8 adults and 2 young children, and we had more than enough space in this home. One of the appealing features for us was the 3 queen bedrooms where two had their own attached bathrooms. The kitchen was very well equipped - crockpot, coffee pot, blenders, plastic place settings for the kids (bowls, cups, plates), more than enough glassware, cutting boards, etc. They also had 2 high chairs, 2 gates and a pack-n-play that were all in good condition. We used the pack-n-play for our little one the week we stayed in the house and both high chairs. The closet in the carport has an additional fridge that came in handy as well as any and all pool equipment you would want. They also had a beach cart, chairs and sun shade in there. The outside showers were great for rinsing off from the beach or giving a quick wash of the babies after being in the pool. The neighborhood is great, quiet and just around the corner from Timbuck II, the grocery and a number of restaurants. The walk to the beach is not bad at all - 3rd street up from the access. There were plenty of tv channel options - we watched a number of things ranging from soccer games to Disney Junior. The previous review mentioned the dryer not having a lint catcher and that has still not been resolved almost a year later. A tie on my little one's swim suit bottoms got caught in the dryer and started to burn as well. The full size bed on the bunk bed sags on the one corner and was not very comfortable. We did have a few ants in the kitchen and wasps outside by the pool that we had to get spray for. Only major complaint was the wifi was not very good. We were constantly kicked off and having to re-enter the password on our phones. It's not a major issue when you are there to enjoy the beach but definitely frustrating when you need wifi to connect to a baby monitor app on your phone. When we return, we will no doubt stay in this house again. Highly recommend.
