First the positives: The house is in a great location, close to shopping, great restaurants, and public beach access. One of our trip highlights was watching rehabilitated turtles being released from the nearby public beach access. The key pad entry is very convenient. The elevator was key for us as we were travelling with an elderly parent. The pool table and fooz ball table were both in working condition and our families had a great time with them. We experienced a problem with ants in the kitchen (a common problem with beach houses) and the property management staff were very quick to dispatch pest control. Also, having linens included is a plus. Not so good: Like the prior reviewer, we also experienced the same issues with the pool and lost 2.5 days of use. This was really a bummer for those in our party who couldn't make it to the beach. I certainly would not call this property a luxury property. Much of the furniture, appliances, and amenities including the pool equipment and hot tub are clearly in need of replacement.

Thank you for the feedback. We make every effort to address our guests concerns. We are very sorry for any problems with the swimming pool. Our pool and hot tub are serviced weekly. The algae problem with the pool was remedied by an adjustment in chemicals. With regard to the furniture, the theater room was completely renovated, a larger leather sectional and bigger new TV were added to the living room for greater guest comfort and enjoyment. The chairs in the dining room and some furniture in the bedroom were refinished, the elevator gate was replaced, the barbecue area was redone, and a jukebox was added to the game room. We apologize that our house did not exceed your expectations. We will look into updating various furniture pieces so that you will consider this a luxury home. Note that although the hot tub is fairly new with a new cover, the proximity of this house to the beach means that the salt from the ocean wind can make even new items look weathered after a few months. Again, thank you for giving us feedback on our home. We will work towards addressing every comment to keep what you enjoy and make improvements so we can ensure your next visit is even more enjoyable. ~The Homeowners
