Practically Perfect

This house was practically perfect! It was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Pros: Large kitchen with a pantry closet (great for family groups) Large, open upstairs living area Great views from the upper deck Close to the beach Close to the grocery store, local seafood market, and local produce stand Board games, books, game room, and hot tub – great for rainy days! Nice supply of beach gear – canopy, boogie boards, etc. Very clean and well-kept, especially considering that it is pet friendly Washer and dryer are on the same floor as the bedrooms/full baths, no stairs required Gates on each deck level – great for the safety of pets and children Cons: The step to get into the hot tub is very high, and my mother-in-law injured herself. We purchased a stool and left it with the house. It is right next to the pier and a mini golf course, and the golf course leaves bright lights on overnight. The two master bedrooms have sliding glass doors to a deck overlooking the golf course, and the lights go right through the curtains. My husband had a lot of trouble sleeping. Thicker curtains or a request to the golf course to turn out the lights would easily remedy this. Though not a fault of the house, the beach access from the house has a lot of steep steps. That was fine for my husband and I, but made the beach in front of the house inaccessible to other family members. The park grill is very small, so dinner for a family needs to be grilled in batches. All in all, we loved the house and would definitely stay there again!

Thank you for your feedback! The mini golf course adjacent to the property is no longer in operation.  There is a restaurant, Pangea Tavern, and the Avon Fishing Pier, however no concerns of bright lights have been received. We are happy to hear of your enjoyment of "Dare Dream" and hope to see you again soon.
