Outer Banks, NC Vacation Rentals Checklist


What do you need to bring  with you when you head to the beach? Sun Realty vacation rental homes are equipped for normal housekeeping. Each of our Outer Banks homes are furnished to the owner's tastes. You'll need to bring all your linens, except for mattress pads, bedspreads and pillows (unless otherwise noted). The cottages will have no paper products, staple items or cleaning items. This brief check list is provided in an attempt to assist you with your packing and shopping.

For the Beach:

  • sun block/lotion/lip balm
  • beach umbrella
  • boogie boards/rafts
  • sunglasses
  • beach chairs
  • beach towels
  • bicycles
  • camera/film
  • fishing rods
  • tackle box

     

For your rental cottage:

  • dish towels and dish cloths
  • all purpose cleaner/disinfectant
  • aluminum foil/plastic wrap
  • dish and laundry detergent
  • bath towels
  • paper towels
  • garbage bags
  • bath soap
  • groceries/condiments
  • staple items
  • baby equipment(if needed)
  • hair dryer
  • napkins
  • toilet paper
  • toys and games for kids

     

Personal Items:

  • cash/travelers checks
  • prescription medications
  • toothbrush/toothpaste/floss
  • shampoo/conditioner
  • clothes

     

Just in case:

  • radio with fresh batteries
  • flashlights with fresh batteries
  • extra shoes
