However, we also specialize in the management of year-round rental homes, townhomes, apartments, and commercial properties. We are currently accepting rental applications for long-term properties. 2. Fill out a rental application and submit application fee.
3. Return your rental application to Sun Realty so credit and reference checks can be completed.

Hatteras Island Long-Term Rentals

We currently do not have any long-term rentals available on Hatteras Island. Please contact Emmett in our Salvo office at (252) 987-2766 or Sharon in our Avon office at (252) 995-5865 if you would like to be notified of future availabilities.

**Storage Units available on W. Fresh Pond - 10x10 to 10x25. $69 to $127 per month. Deposit requires. 24 hour access.

 

Other Long-Term Rentals Information:

  • Application fee of $6.00 per occupant.
  • All occupants 18 years of age or older must complete a rental application.
  • All applications subject to satisfactory credit report/score and reference checks.  
  • A picture ID is required when a rental application is submitted. 
  • A picture ID and a $45.00 refundable deposit is required prior to receiving a key to view unoccupied  properties.
  • Most properties may be viewed Monday thru Friday from 9am until 3pm. Keys must be returned by 4pm in order to avoid forfeiting the $45.00 deposit.  
  • Appointments are needed to view occupied properties. Please call our office to schedule an appointment.  

NO PETS unless otherwise indicated in the property description. Exceptions will be made for companion/service animals permitted under Fair Housing laws.                          

All long-term Outer Banks rentals offer stoves, refrigerators, and are unfurnished unless otherwise indicated in the property description.

Waterbeds are not permitted.

Utilities (including water) are extra unless otherwise indicated.
