Overall

This old house has become a family tradition. In addition to renting for several years in the early 1970's under the Gaskill's we began renting again about 5 years ago and have continued to do so every year. We all have "our" regular bedrooms and we treat the house as if it were our own. Our favorite feature is the 2nd floor deck overlooking the beach and ocean and the screened-in side porch where many conversations occur. It's been fine with no air conditioning and we like listening to the ocean and the breezes that's what makes the Crows Nest what it is! Thank you to the owner for sharing your house!

Overall

This was a great house. Worked perfect for our family!! Plenty of space and didn't have any trouble only having 2 bathrooms or no air conditioner. Loved everything about this place! All beds and sofas were comfy. I would like to add you should add a bed to the crows nest. It would be a perfect place to sleep.

This house was right on the beach and made the outdated home worth it. We were there for the beach. The house served its purpose for the cheaper cost.

Like walking back in time

Overall

We stayed in this house every summer from 1970-1976 and had not been in the house since that time. When first walking in the front door it was like stepping back in time it had not changed very much in all those years. Very comfortable house good beach access lots of room. The owners have done a great job keeping it well-maintained. We really liked the second floor deck on the back and the lovely ocean views. Will be renting again this year.
